Itâs not as moisturizing as I thought it would be. Love the smell though
I was worried when an unfamiliar tube showed up, but this is everything and itâs perfect. The smell is AMAZING- you can go without perfume, but even better is how quickly it absorbs and moisturizes. It has the richness of cream, but the less greasy aspects of a lotion.
I was excited to try this lotion on my 5 month old after reading the reviews about the scent. I expected a nice, light scent of sweet pea and a little coconut, suitable for a baby. What I got was a major disappointment – a perfume lotion for adults with sensitive skin. There’s no way I’d put this on my baby! It does not smell subtle or sweet like a baby should. Not a bad smell, but nothing I would’ve bought if I had smelled it first. This is so strong smelling, I’d worry about my baby getting a headache. If I wore the scent, I’d need to apply a thin layer to my neck and wrists. To be covered in this would be overkill.UPDATE: I am still not a fan of the scent of the sweet pea & murumuru, but I did apply it to rough patches on my son’s skin, and I must say, it did heal his skin very quickly. The product works well as it should, so I am adding a star.
This lotion no longer has sweet pea in it, which does make a big difference in the scent. The sweet pea and murumuru butter combination was amazing, but it is still a good lotion. I would purchase it again.
Love the smell not to strong. Babies skin feels great not to thick!
Got this for my infant daughter who struggles with very dry skin and keratosis pilaris on her arms. The scent is really lovely and it is thicker than most other baby lotions which is what we were looking for. It absorbs quickly and is not at all greasy. I only which is was a bit more moisturizing. I’d say its good for normal to dry skin but not very dry skin. We end up using another product in addition to this lotion to keep her well moisturized.
