Damaged Cabinets
So, in all honesty I ordered these because my damn cat kept getting into all the kitchen cupboards. They installed nicely and work great to keep him out!HOWEVER, and this is a big one, it’s easy to forget they are there. I have tried to open a drawer/cabinet while they’re locked several times. I did this once, and my particle board (older kitchen) cabinet crumbled where the lock was attached. It was absolutely user error, but I have done this more than once. I imagine an absent-minded parent would do it even more often.

Keeps the cats out of the cupboards … but they still can open them a tiny bit.So hopefully after driving me nuts by opening them an inch and letting them slam closed repeatedly for a while, they’ll get bored and eventually give up.

They just came tonight so I havenât installed them yet..I will be using them on a terrarium for a snake.. it has 3 glass doors so these will work perfectly to keep them closed.NO MORE ESCAPEES 😉
They arenât very sturdy
I liked that it does lock doors. I donât c like that it doesnât have a size up. I used it for bathroom sink does and kitchen cabinet doors and a door in my bedroom dresser
