Great looking item & takes up less space than others of its kind but they are some of the absolute worst instruction manuals Iâve ever seen.
This Skip Hop baby activity center is a very high quality activity center/bouncer for your baby. Hereâs my quick list of pros and cons after seeing the item in action.Pros:- Assembly wasnât too bad. It only took about 30 minutes and the only item required was a screwdriver.- Includes several different types of activities for your baby. These include a peekaboo sun that plays music and has a flashing light, a rainbow star, a moon spinner/rattler, a bird clacker, a jumping jack lamb, and a cloud teether.- All toys/activities other than the peekaboo sun and the cloud teether simply clip on to the bouncer and are movable, so you can position them wherever youâd like.- The chair spins 360 degrees so your baby can turn and play with whichever activity they want. My baby has had an easier time spinning in this bouncer than in other bouncers weâve used.- The cloud teether attaches to the seat to ensure your baby can reach it and wonât drop it in the floor.- The seat is height adjustable, so you can raise it or lower it to find a setting that best fits your child. There are 5 different settings that can be changed in a matter of minutes.- The bouncer can fold flat to make it easy to store away. This is my favorite feature about the item, because we donât have much floor space in our house as it is. Other bouncers weâve used take up a lot of space when not in use and are a pain to break down and store away. This also makes it easier to pack and take with you on vacation or other trips if youâd like to do that. Folding it flat is as easy as stepping on a button on each side and pulling up on the two support bars, then folding them over.- Easy to clean. The seat cover is machine washable and the rest of the bouncer is easy to just wipe down when it gets dirty.- Very high quality. I could see this lasting through multiple children and still being in good condition, as long as you take care of it.Cons:- You have to remove the clip on toys before you can use the fold flat feature.- The peekaboo sun toy needs 3 AAA batteries, which arenât included with the item. As much as the item costs, I feel like the batteries are a small thing that they could have included.- The price is a bit higher compared to the price of other bouncers Iâve bought, but nothing egregious.- The bouncer does not sit flat on the floor. It rocks back and forth ever so slightly between the two main feet, but itâs enough to notice and be annoying.Overall, Iâve been really impressed with this activity center, and my 8 month old baby has been too. Itâs high quality, versatile, and has plenty of activities to keep my baby entertained. Iâll give it 4/5 stars and would recommend to others based on the fact my child seems to enjoy this bouncer more than other brands weâve used.
Very quick and simple assembly. Good interactive toys that keep him busy and entertained. Easy to clean, have washed the seat cover a few times and it’s holding up well. I think the price for the quality matches up pretty well!
I got this for my grandbaby to enjoy here at my house. It’s a huge hit! The assembly wasn’t too difficult, maybe half an hour with one person.This is extremely sturdy, the size is good for even limited spaces. The muted colors adapt to any environment. The baby loves the music and the on board adjustable toys.There are three height adjustments that have to be manually done.This is an excellent value!
I love that this has toys that keep babies attention. The seat rotates so no matter where the toys are, baby can turn to get to them. The base feet do rock a little. Not a lot but enough to notice. The folding feature is wonderful, but I never use it. If you do want to fold it, the toys have to be removed first. It also requires batteries that are not included.
