Baby is Obsessed
My baby loves this toy. At 3 months old, it is the number one toy that he likes to smile at. Loves staring at the little face, and the rattle is very responsive to a variety of angles being shaken.
Best Toy for Under $10 I Have Bought So Far
Skip Hop has yet to let me down. I bought this for my nearly 5 month old and he LOVES it. Like many others have said, the body of the ball being made of a soft flexible material was a pleasant surprise. Being that my son is teething, anything and everything gets jammed in his mouth… this ball is no exception. The red “spikes” on the top of the hedgehog are soft as well and he likes to give those a chew.It is a little too heavy but I don’t particularly see that as a problem. He loves shaking it about and making it rattle (and taunting the dog who so desperately wants to get a hold of it).The colours are really great and it’s just all round really cute. Being that we own multiple Skip Hop items, the designer in me loves that it all goes together.It’s hands down my son’s favourite toy for under $10.
It keeps their attention
I bought this for my twin grandchildren just before they turned 6 months old. They are almost 8 months now and they still live this toy over almost all the (very many!) others. It rattles and wobbles and it’s great for teething. Lightweight and easy to hold. I would certainly buy it again.
Great for tiny hands
My 4 month old absolutely loves this toy. It’s easy for her to grab, she likes chewing on the little spikes, and likes that it makes noise when she shakes it. The bright colours are a plus.
A great quality, cute toy for baby!
It’s durable and, best of all, it’s PVC-free and Phthalate-free.It’s larger than I expect (a bit larger than the size of a softball); as such, it’s a bit too large for my 6 month old to hold.I like that the spikes on the hard are soft plastic; hence, I’m not too concerned about it hurting my baby when he thrashes the toy around.It is top-heavy though; therefore, it does not sit upright when it is rolled on the ground. It will just end up lying on its side.

Great little toy that mesmerizes my 4 month old and is good as he learns to grasp
My little guy really likes this toy. He started using it when he was about 4 months old.â Provides lots of places for him to stick his little fingers in as he learns to grasp. His fingers get slightly stuck in the holes, which makes it easier for him to hold on to it (but not so stuck that it’s a problem).â He’s mesmerized by the little balls that slide along the yellow bar on the frontâ Seems like a durable, well made toyâ It’s a very cute toy!
Very durable and darn cute
I bought this for my nephew for Christmas and he is 9 months old. The moment his mom open this gift and hand it to him he began to chew away on it as he’s teething. It was a hit from the get-go. Very easy to clean, easy for him to hold on to with the holes on the bottom. The holes are not too big and not too small just right for his little fingers. Five drooly thumbs up from Oliver ð

My 7 month old loves this. He started playing with it probably around 5 months but he used to clock himself in the head with it a lot. Not so much now. Its super easy for him to pick up, It makes satisfying noises, its easy to wipe down, and now he even spins the beads on the front of it. Its so cute too.
This is a big hit with our granddaughter. It has a lovely rattle and has a wobbly roll due to the heavier base. She also loved chewing on the yellow bar around his front. The big holes makes it easy to hold and manoevre.
The product is okay but donât expect super high levels of quality. The price is high because it is imported. The rattle doesnât make a high noice and that is a positive or a negative based on your requirement.
