Just what we needed
We have a small bathroom so a kid potty was not an option. This is perfect, itâs easy to use, my toddler can do it himself, itâs small, easy to clean and does the job. Itâs even easy to bring along with us if we go to a cottage or something, obviously without the part that sticks to the toilet. Love it
Handy Potty Training Tool
This toilet seat has been a great help with potty training. It is easy to install and use. The only reason for a four star rating is that the product itself can be a bit of an inconvenience at times, especially with one washroom. Getting the seat to stay attached to the magnetic piece attached to the toilet lid is not always a breeze and, as well, after months of use, the part which attaches to the lid has been falling off due to the 3M tape loosing its hold.
Compact seat, love the way it is stored on the toilet lid
This seat is perfect for my 3 year old to transition from the potty to the regular toilet. The seat insert fits securely over the toilet and doesn’t slide around. We plan on bringing just the insert with us in a huge ziplock bag when we go to the cabin this summer. The insert stores on underside of the toilet lid with a magnet. We have this installed in our upstairs bathroom that is mainly used for the kids so it’s not a problem with adults not being able to lean back while using the throne! It’s just nice to have someone to store the insert when not being used by a toddler.
The concept was great – execution not so much
I really liked the concept of this potty seat however the actual hole is far too small for toddlers. Would not recommend for your average / larger size toddlers. The seat also doesnât stay well on the magnetized part on the lid. Itâs okay, but would not purchase again.

This seat is much more comfortable for my toddler than some of the other ones out there. I love the pee shield, its saved us from a few accidents. I wish it came with a hook for the back of the door but otherwise can’t complain!
The best potty training purchase
One of my customers loved this one so I gave it a shot. It is a magnet for the top of the lid and works great, while you’re shopping get the 2 step skip hop stool. Money well spent
Great potty, but splash guard could be a bit taller
This is a nice toilet insert for our son. He can easily or it on the toilet and it also isn’t hideous for us adults. The only thing is my son hasn’t mastered posting directly into the toilet (directing his pee downward) and the splash guard is very low. So until he learns to do this, I go to the bathroom him each time to help him. If we don’t we will have a huge mess! The hard part about that is my son now wants to go to the bathroom on his own, for closed ðOverall great insert, but I would have delayed purchasing until my son was more advanced at using the toilet on his own.
Genius idea
So far I am very pleased with the potty trainer. Fits great and such a genius idea, now time to for potty training

– Extremely easy to install – basically line up based on your toilet seat shape, peel and stick the hub the voila! Took with 3 minutes max!- Best feature is that it attaches directly to the seat and the toilet still closes all the way. The ultimate space saver and no separate hooks or things hanging in your bathroom.- The only con to me is the magnet is not super strong. Itâs enough to hold the seat in place. But if you slam or use excessive force, the toilet seat will fall. Just be gentle 🙂

Love that it is easy to clean, just wipe it off, and has an easy hanger. I have the base/hanger attached to the tub just in case of drips. The rubber splash guard seems comfortable. But the splash guard needs to be longer inside the toilet! My boy can be sitting properly and the urine stream can go under the guard, under the seat, and stream onto his clothes or down the toilet to the floor. This is not something the kid notices from his viewing angle.I keep using it because I love how easy to clean. The Munchkin seat is better for boys and younger or early learners. The splash guard really works, the seat is more molded, and the sides have handles to hold for security and positioning assistance. But the underside has several tight corners where the pee settles and itâs hard to wipe it totally clean. I end up soaking it in the tub with denture cleaning tabs.
My 4yo loves this thing. We have tried several different models of toddler seats and this one is by far the best investment. The others were either too complicated for her to place quickly (always waits until the last minute to use the potty) or too bulky and/or annoying to have to remove/place constantly. As we have a shared bathroom, I wanted something easy to use without assistance from us adults, but also stored away easily.Installation was very quick. The packaging was handy in placing the magnetic holder properly. I removed the sticky backing while still sitting in the package (just make sure the magnets are in the right spot to hold the seat), placed the whole thing on the toilet seat and closed the lid. I pressed down on the lid slightly before opening and removed the rest of the packaging. Now when I close the toilet lid it picks up the toddler seat with it, and the tab keeps it down if needed for use! Quite easy for everyone to use, easy to spray down and clean, we love this! We tried another similar (but not magnetic) seat in our upstairs bathroom, and this one prevails!Have been in use about a month with no problems and sees daily use. I highly recommend to try this and see if it fits for your little one. Definitely worth the cost!
