Bon rapport qualité-prix
Facile à monter (panneaux et portes grillagés déjà installés dans le cadre) et tient bien en place avec les pièces fournies. La maille de fer est assez serrée pour retenir les étincelles. Un peu d’espace entre les portes lorsque fermées mais elles glissent facilement. Des poignées en bois auraient été préférables au lieu du métal qui accumule la chaleur lors d’un feu intense (portes fermées) mais pas pour se brûler les doigts dans une utilisation normale .

This sliding door fireplace screen is simple, but elegant. It was easy to set up, sturdy and works as advertised. It slides nicely and is versatile in use. Handy as a staircase divider when not being used at the fireplace.
This was exactly what I was looking for. I liked the screen in front of my study fireplace, but I didn’t like that it made the room seem smaller because it stuck out. This fireplace screen fixes that issue, but it is not as described. The doors do not slide, they swing out and have a magnetic closure. I’m fine with it because I have a gas fireplace with a remote and no reason to open it. I wanted it completely flush on the fireplace, so I did not install the stabilizing feet as that would have made it stick out several inches. I need a screen just to keep my cats from taking out the gas rocks 😛 so I need it flush. Without the stabilizing feet, it tends to tip backwards, which again, is fine for me as it is flush and we don’t have small children in the house to potentially hurt themselves. I put rubber furniture pads under the front feet so it could not “scoot” with a kitty push. Overall, this is perfect for me and I love it…but be sure you know what you are getting!!
after using it a few weeks, sliding door got stuck, took it up and found out the sliding devices have plastic supports, it melted, what a terrible mistake by the manufacture.
I put this together all by myself in less than 5 minutes!! I personally wish it was more flush with the fireplace but it looks great! I had one that was a bifold. This is much better and I love the sliding doors!!
