Potty training can be pretty intimidating, especially for little ones that are used to the comfort of a diaper since birth. This book brings in some fun and humor and makes the process of letting go (literally) much easier. My daughter loves reading this book during potty time, and we now have been able to successfully send many poops on a âwater slide rideâ down the toilet Cowabunga!
Super book. My 2 year old loves when I sing the song to her, joining in with the âsplash splashâ! She even tries to cuddle the picture of Mr Poo Poo because heâs so personable ð This particular book is great because it encourages toddlers not to fear releasing their poo into the potty/toilet, which is something many battle with. Itâs a simple little book but it is cheerful, colourful and does the trick! Iâd definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to make sure their children relax about doing a poo. (Ah, the things we talk about as parents…)
Mr. Poppy has become our favourite character in the world. We don’t know how negative humans can be around a natural process like pooping until a little child develops a real fear affecting everyone’s life and potentially their own health. This book has changed our daily relationship with the toilet making it fun and most importantly making it normal and positive. Both books work wonders using well known songs, they work better if together. This is the best money I’ve ever spent in my life.
Can not recommend this book enough for anyone struggling with poop problems while potty training! So thankful Jen responded to a post on a Facebook group about pooping troubles last week. My 2.5 yr old has been day trained with peeing since the beginning of July but refused to poop on the potty. Bought the book on Friday. The song became our LOâs new favorite tune that she asked us to sing it constantly the last 5 days. Today on vacation our LO sat herself down on the potty, grabbed the book, started singing and pooped with zero fear! She was so proud of herself and thought it was so cool to âflush it down the holeâ! To reiterate how far we came in such a short time, last week daycare called to tell us our daughter was in distress about needing to poop but being too afraid of the potty! This book was the magic we needed and Jen has been a huge support! Thank you!
What a fantastic little book. My little boy has been struggling with using the toilet for a poo and having lots of accidents in his pants. Since this book has arrived he has made so much progress. He loves to sing the song which is super catchy and loves looking at the pictures which are perfectly aimed at toddlers! He has now started to tell me when he needs to go for a poo and he is keen for his poo to take a ride on the potty slide! Thank you for this fantastic book, it is so bright, colourful and catchy and my little boy loves it!!!
