Description
Instead of sounding an alarm, the motion sensor sends a wireless signal to a pager carried by the caregiver (clipped to a belt or inside a pocket). This allows the caregiver to be notified wherever they are without disturbing residents. When positioned along the bedside the fall monitor will alarm as the resident attempts to vacate the bed. (extendable bracket is sold separately). Wireless sensor operates on 3 AA batteries. Pager operates on 2 AA batteries. Batteries not included.Optional AC Adapter: AC-04. A silent wireless signal is sent to the caregiver pager up to 300 ft away.

Works very well
This is used in a bedroom for my mother who has dementia. I have it mounted so that if she starts to walk towards the end of the bed (usually to go to the bathroom), the pager will sound at someone can watch and make sure she does not fall. The pager is quite loud so it was places in a shelf with clothes on top so that it is not too loud at night. It works very well and is doing it’s job. I did purchase an optional power adapter for the main unit so that it does not need battery replacements. Works great
This is perfect for what is needed. It is nice to have the alarm piece to carry around and to not hear it from the room that the motion sensor is in, so as not to startle. The only problem that I have with it is that there is no volume control so at night it is really loud, when I only need it to be loud during the daytime.

First time I purchased this system in 2016. It worked well till 2021. I was very happy with the quality and its functionality. I repeated the purchase of this system in 2021. The new pieces looked slightly different and the packaging was different. Also the tunes were different. It showed “made in China”. It did not work, and I had to return it. I repurchased it again. It was the same as the one I have returned one but worked well. The life span of it about 2 years, much shorter than the first one which was 5 years. I ordered a new one in March 2023 and, again, had to return it for not working.Today, I have purchased one again, hoping that it will work. The quality of this system went down significantly!!!! Such system should be reliable because the safety of our loved ones depends on its performance. The Company, Smart Caregiver, should take it into consideration!!!

It is fabulous! Works to perfection. My Mom is 95 unsteady on her feet and very weak. Without assistance she could easily fall. She spends a lot of time in bed but she also gets up 3 or 4 times a day to go to the living room (with assistance) or to use the washroom. I can finally relax when I am out of Mom’s room. I would highly recommend the ‘Smart Caregiver TL-510MP to any caregiver. As soon as her feet are over the bed, before they touch the floor the pager sounds giving me time to get there to assist her. The pager (I use chime) can be heard from any room in the house including the basement. It is perfect, perfect, perfect!
Good product so far.
This motion sensor was just what I needed to warn me if my husband (who has dementia) tried to use the stairs at night. It allows me to get a full night sleep upstairs while he sleeps downstairs. I would also purchase the adapter which allows you use electricity in place of the batteries. Well worth the money.

Tee unit is very sensitive and does allow you to know when the patient is awake.I would give 5 stars if you could control the volume on the pager as it is virtually impossible to use this without waking anyone else in the house. My girlfriend and I used it with her father who has Parkinson’s and some sun-downing at night and even if I was the one on shift, it would wake her up even when I slept in a different room. Also, rather than simple chines, it is along and protracted tune which is completely unnecessary. I read previous reviews about this issue but thought it was exaggerated. It is not….
Defective Unit
I bought this Smart Caregiver TL-5102MP unit as a spare backup for my existing unit which has worked without flaw for almost 1 1/2 years. However I will have to return it. I used it for half hour in the same location as my existing unit and I am getting false alarms about every 5 minutes. I have gone back to using my old unit and will be returning this defective unit.
An excellent Gazette for caregiver to Elders. My mother is 93yrs old, she is a case of Senile Dementia/Alzheimer’s.I have installed this Gazette near her bed , so whenever she awake and about to leave the bed , this Gazette sounds immediately and makes me alert to help her , otherwise she may fall and can get injured.Even at night if you are sleeping , the beep awakes you and make you alert.This is a must for your loved one’s who are quite old and always require help by some one/Caregiver , so that they should not remain unattended.Packing was too good and batteries were already installed.
Have two of these alarms and we could not be more pleased! One is dedicated to keeping an eye on our elderly parent in bed. The other unit is for when parent is watching TV in family room and we are outdoors gardening, in the barn or mowing. The alarm sound component is portable. We slip it in a pocket or just place it where we’re working. We can hear the alarm chime in a pocket over the tractor noise – great for when parent moves or needs our help. We mow about an acre and the unit has no issues covering this area.We use these great little monitors in conjunction with radio wave baby monitors (we never use wifi monitors due to hacking privacy issues). Our elderly parent is monitored while we are going about household chores by day and during the night.Five years of 24/7 use these monitors are still reliable. They are easy on batteries. We’ve only changed batteries out twice in three years.The unit actually lets you know when the batteries need changing – the alarm starts to sound like a creature from the outer limits. Please note the two alarm sound choices are somewhat sappy, and very loud. That’s actually a great feature if you are a sound sleeper or on a tractor. We keep the alarm unit outside our bedroom as it’s a bit startling when it goes off.We’re ordering a couple more units as spares. We also use the gardening unit to keep an eye on our open (and locked) sliding screen door, just in case a visitor comes there instead of the front door.Unit is simple, low cost, so far completely reliable, no wifi to mess with, no apps, just your ears being alerted if your patient is moving. Kudos to the manufacturer.Highly recommend!

Very happy with the purchase. This is critical to monitoring the movement of elderly. Sensor is sensitive and the volume control on the receiver side is a ‘must’ feature. Highly recommended. Now just watching the battery life.
