Our coffee cup cabinet needed help. We could only safely have one level of coffee cups and mugs, or try and stack them which sometimes led to breakage when a cup slipped or fell.We added both shelves in our coffee center cabinet and have layers and layers of mug and cup space. We’ve even used the smaller shelf to help add an additional area for K-cup storage. These well-built shelves were very easy to put together and added tons of additional space while looking stylish in our cabinets.You could use these shelves in any cabinet you need to add additional space: cups, spices, dry goods, baking items…it is very functional. I highly recommend this product to help you organize your cabinets and use up that bit of wasted space we all have.
If you need an extra shelf or two to increase your kitchen storage space, these may come in handy either on a counter top or inside a cupboard (how Iâm using them). The two shelves are slightly different sizes allowing the smaller one to slide under, or sit on top of, the larger one which adds flexibility to where and how you use them.Given the placement flexibility and the two color options (a choice of black or a white/bamboo set), as long as they work with your décor I think theyâre attractive enough to be on the counter top. Iâm trying to fix my spice storage area and these allow me to now put things effectively on top of the spice jars in a cupboard.The one thing I wasnât thrilled about was the âassemblyâ process. I found the screws were hard to start in a couple of cases, and the small Allen wrench is, well itâs definitely âsmallâ. Assembly will probably only be done once so that isnât a major factor. Iâve also purchased several âextraâ shelf items from different vendors (on a reorganization kick to fix my cupboard chaos) and I think these may be a little over priced for what they are. Iâm still giving them four stars because they do work for their intended purpose.
