These souper cubes are indeed super
I use these to freeze gelatin derived from pig trotters. The two trays are the perfect size for one batch. The trays are solid, well made with tight fitting lids which will hold any liquid you care to use them for. I will certainly order again. If I had more room in the freezer I would definitely purchase more.

I am making meals/soups etc and freezing portions, then vacuum packing them. Easy to grab for lunches or âwhatâs for supperâ nights. Saving money and less food waste. Easy to pop out when portion frozen, and cleans up in a breeze.
Love the Souper Cubes
I was initially concerned about paying so much for these two silicone trays. I use them to freeze homemade bone broth. Getting the frozen chunks of bone broth out of the Souper Cube is very easy, just push on the bottom and they pop out. Iâve used them numerous times and theyâre still like new but Iâve only washed them by hand. They are definitely worth the price and I would highly recommend them.
Works great for vacuum sealing soup. Rounded corners would be an improvement though.
Used this to freeze soup for vacuum sealing, 3 X 500 ml makes a nice bowl.Sturdy enough to stand up while loading hot liquid.For vacuum sealing, a radius on the sharp corners of the frozen cubes would be an advantage as the bag pulls tight around the sharp point.
Easy to use, doesnât leak, and saves a lot of food
Super smart to make nice big ice cube trays for food. It makes us able to control how much to defrost at a time, space saving because itâs not awkwardly shaped, and easy to use! I find myself using it all the time. Perfect for meal prepping.
Better than expected
I bought these because I have heard great reviews about them. I wanted to use them for preparing my dogs food. And let me tell you, they exceeded my expectations! I am glad I went for these verses the cheaper ones. So easy to fill, clearly labeled amount. And getting the food out is a breeze! Just turn upside down, give a gentle push and out they come. I will be buying more of these in different sizes for sure. Highly recommend!
I am going by the fact I use the bigger ones for my chili. Now I will never forget to have my bell pepper again. I can buy them and have prepared in these cubes for my chili etc. right now my chili I had forgotten my bell pepper and that is why I needed these.
These are amazing – such a simple idea, but these really have made my life easier and better. The only thing that I dislike is the price tag; I think it is too high for this item, but I wanted these to work as expected, so I splurged. I would not take any rating stars off for the price as I chose to purchase these. I had a gastric sleeve nine months ago, and I needed to be able to measure out my portions for meals. This half cup size is perfect for soups, and I just live on soups currently for ease.I portion out my soup into the sections, freeze, pop them out after they are frozen, and then place the cubes into a freezer bag that I label and date. In the photo, I have portioned out my momâs cabbage soup into the cubes. I have chronic pain and hurt more at night, so this helps my fiancé know exactly what to warm up for me if heâs helping me with dinner, and I know that the portion size will be correct. I eventually want to make some bariatric-friendly casseroles and side dishes and freeze them, but the ease of this for portioning and freezing soups when you are still âeatingâ only liquids or soft foods, is irreplaceable.I love that the seal on these is tight – no food is spilled in the freezer. These also pop out easily from pushing the bottom, and I have not yet noticed any observable wear from pushing the cubes out repeatedly. I also like that these can be used in the microwave or oven if I require those uses in the future. The Souper cubes are also a souper fast clean up – just some warm water and a dish brush or sponge. There are also internal measurements inside the cubes, so that one can adjust without needing âxâ many sets. I wish that I had purchased a larger size actually and then used the internal measurements to freeze in smaller portions as my surgeon tells me that my portion size will increase with time that way I could have made my purchased set more adaptable for my new diet.Honestly, I have tried to search for a different version of a similar product where the price is more affordable but have not yet found a good substitution based on the reviews of similar items. The fact that these are freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe, have a tight and contoured spill-proof lid and measurements inside the cubes, have made these unmatched by other items. The price point is the only thing that keeps me not wholly dedicating myself to this product, as I do not have the means to procure these in as many sizes and amounts that I would like – life after bariatric surgery is expensive – protein bars, drinks, and so on, but I would recommend at least one set of these to any bariatric recipient. I have also given these as gifts. For a *seemingly* small and insignificant kitchen accessory, this product has positively affected my life on a daily basis.
I know these are marketed as soup molds. However, I use them to make butter molds. I make butter from scratch and these are perfectly sized. The butter comes out of the silicone mold easily, plus I can freeze butter in them. Really great idea.
These mods work great, they transition from counter to freezer and back with out any issue.
I bought this item to freeze the passion fruit pulp from backyard tree. Now I can use the puree all year long. Very useful
