This book has been wonderful for my toddler who is a stool withholder. He has wanted to sit on the potty and read it! It is very interactive and insightful.
My son started potty training in September 2024 and would only poo in his pull up of an evening. He then began withholding his poos and we have had trouble with this ever since. I started following Dr Kate on Instagram and could really relate to all of her reels so decided to purchase all 3 of her books. They are amazing!!! My son loves reading this story on the toilet doing his ‘Sally Star’ techniques and bottom squeezes 🙂 – we are making progress from where we were before purchasing these books! I definitely recommend all 3 🙂
Our 3.5 year old daughter loves this book and it has really helped to make toilet training fun and relaxed.
This book has worked perfectly for my 3 year old. He has had an ongoing problem with witholding since he was potty trained which got worse in the last few weeks, requiring a trip to the doctors. He was still witholding and getting very upset when we even suggested going to the toilet until we bought this book. Now he happily uses the toilet and enjoys joining in with the “exercises” in the book.
