I love this item! I thought I was just ordering a Simple greater a various sizes but was surprised to see it come with a container not only catch graded items, but a lid to use the container as a bonus Tupperware item!
The handle pops out of the sides every time we use the grater. The grater it self is very nice.
The best test for graters is cheese. I used to grate fresh parmesan cheese and it so easy to use. I love the nonstick surface it has which doesn’t allow the cheese to stick to the grater itself. It was easy to clean as well due to its nonstick surface.
This multi-sided cheese grater covers all the grating options I need, from fine shreds to wider cuts. While it’s a bit bulky in the dishwasher, it cleans up well. After using a smaller grater for years, having a larger one with more options has been a welcome change. It also has a small container to use at the bottom to catch the cheese in so that you don’t have to do it onto a plate and is lightweight and easy to handle thanks to the comfortable grip.
I really enjoy using this stainless steel grater. One standout feature is its silicone bottom, which prevents slipping and provides a bit of cushioning in case it’s dropped. The top plastic area is not silicone.It offers a good variety of slicing options, adding a fun dimension to meal preparation, especially for special occasions. However, I have some reservations about the non-stick coating on its surfaces. While it does make cleaning easier, I’m cautious about its composition and potential long-term health implications. I’d really rather have one without any coating.Despite the advertising that it is compact, I find it a larger than expected. And, although it doesn’t necessarily require storing in its box, the box itself safely stores the blades and includes useful directions.Although I own a food processor, I also wanted a grater because its easier to cleanup at times. I was happy to find this six sided one because it also provides a wider variety of slicing options than my food processor.
