An unexpected sleep game changer
I have been a chronic insomniac for a very long time. I had been looking for a device to help me with my sleep issues that didnât break my bank, while still being functional and easy to use. Enter this honestly adorable space dog. I have had my light for a little over 1 year, as Iâll never go to sleep without it again. I love the compatibility with your smartphone via the easy to use app. The light does come with a remote, I just use the app instead. The lighting coupled with the ocean wave effect is super calming. I am also a huge fan of the fact that this light doubles as a white noise machine. It comes preloaded with some sound effects, but it also allows you to play your own playlists. Ever since I got this light, people have been asking where they can find one of their own. I even bought one for my best friend for Christmas! One thing to be aware of though⦠the head is magnetic, makes it easy to swivel and remove; which might be an issue for those with active little ones. Just be very careful.Definitely worth it for people with difficulty sleeping, no matter what age.

I use this as a night light for my kid’s room. I love the options that come with this light. There is an app that allows you to adjust the colors and the little green stars. You can have so many different combinations of lights and music that gives the kids something to look at when going to sleep. The dog covers the majority of the ceiling and walls in a small to medium size room. The dog’s head can be adjusted to desired positions. The green light can be bright if directly in your eyes, but the brightness can be adjusted on the app. The app also allows you to set a daily timer for the lights to come on at a certain time and even automatically shuts off after a few hours. Love this !!!
This is the star light to purchase hands down, no exceptions. There are more of these gizmos on the market than a person could count. Out of all of them this is hands down the one you want to put your hands on. Each one has a difference here and there. But his one hands down is the showstopper due to MAJOR and I mean MAJOR features that are above and beyond all the rest. If you like integration of your apps and toys around the house then this is the one you want, hands down. Let me explain why and you too will be impressed.The coverage on this unit huge. The light can cover a massive ceiling space due to its adjustability. The head of the space dog is fully articulatable and can be pointed in any direction. It is held to the body via a magnetic catch. It also has a very large diffuser than most of these types of projectors. This allows it to throw the light into larger areas of coverage as well. The unit has a very nice remote control with a lot of options. There is like 30 plus buttons on it to fine tooth comb. The built in Bluetooth speaker is decent enough.The main thing about this unit that sets it apart from others is it can be controlled with Alexa and such integrations with the app support. I am using it via Smart Life (Tuya). The Tuya app will work as well, and both have Alexa support built into them. So having this in your home as a smart home integration is most defiantly a major showstopper. This is what sets this device apart from the rest of them by far. This feature alone is what makes this product over the top as compared to the others on the market. I have used a number of these star projectors to date.For the actual lighting the lighting is more a wave or oceanic light show versus the nebula style. It does say nebula on the ad, but I would call it waves more than anything. If it had nebulas and the waves this would be over the top, but I assume you can only have one or the other style at manufacturing. But to have both would be amazing. The stars are the standard green laser show of all the units out there. This sia a huge pattern on this one, and it looks great. The amount of fill, or saturation if you will is huge. In fact, it also has more of this than other units too. This thing can fill a room and then some.This unit’s ability to connect to Wi-Fi and really is the only unit on the market I have seen that can do this, is the main reason to purchase this unit without question. If you are going to purchase one of these units than this unit needs to be a HUGE part in your decision-making process. The amount applications (android or apple supported out of box) for this unit are beyond excellent. Desktop PC support is simple via third party access. The main applications are us based Smart Life and Tuya Smart. I used Smart Life with it, and it is wall rounded and a complete app that links to Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, IFTTT, and Google Assistant. This integration is flawless. Have also been able to interface via Desktop PC via this avenue. The flexibility and extremely smooth app integration is hands down the feature that separates this product from others. The ability here is clean, convenient, and works without any hiccups. This thing is just perfect. You will be amazed!Highly recommend this star projector A+++
