The PVC tubing that comes with Medela’s Pump in Style will melt in steam during sterilization. Furthermore, when it gets dirty, and can’t be washed by water, it is time to install a new one for the safety of your baby. This product is a retail package of a pair of two NEW tubings designed for Medela’s PIS breastpump, released after July 2006. If you don’t know if this tubing fits your pump, see the photos. The tubing is (1) One soft end & one adaptor (2) will not melt during sterilization (3) Smooth, semi-clear plastic tubing (4) Made to replace Medela’s #8007212.

I freaked out when I tried to sterilize my tubes for the medela pump in style and they melted! I ordered these (steam safe) ones thinking I would just use them until I got another set of genuine Medela brand tubes for my pump. These are better! They fit perfect with my pump (Medela Pump in Style) and don’t stick to each other & get tangled like the originals I had. These are fantastic and even better are safe to sterilize in the microwave! If anything happens to these I will definitely be buying them again.
This tubing is great!! I have a Medela PISA & the tubing started to get stretched out & loose at the base. I replaced it with the official Medela tubing bc hey, it’s official right? Same thing happened after 2 weeks of use. Annoyed, I figured I would give this one a shot-didn’t expect it to be better at half price, but it is!! The tubing is softer than the original Medela tubing and it grips the base better. Love it!! So glad I bought this.
love THIS !! soo much better than the ones that come with the Medela pump. I am able to move freely without having the tubing pop out of the pump. With the tubing that come with the pump is stiff and doesn’t allow for much movement. Also this tubing does not build up moisture within the tubing as easily as the ones that come with the Medela pump.
Slightly longer, more flexible, and more “grippy” than the OEM tubing on my Medela Pump in Style Advanced. Tubing is not as stiff or slick, so you do have to pull out of the flanges using the adapter. The tubing has stood up to being in my car in the Winter weather and still performed well.
Works perfect with my Medela pump in style, I had to order these as a replacement because the ones that came with my pump ended up melting when I was sanitizing them. I sanitize these either by microwaving them in the bottle sanitizer or boiling them and there is no damage to them
