Great product.
This is a really great product that does the job as advertised and seems sturdy enough. Installation was very simple. This isn’t going to stop someone from breaking into your house, nothing else will, but it’s an extra layer of security and will add a peace of mind knowing that your door latch isn’t taking all the pressure. Also, my children feel safer and this is really what matters the most.
Didnât come with enough screws
Only came with 3 of required 6 long screws. Delivery guy stepped in my garden to put the package on my porch. And any screws youâd have lying around wonât work as the head of the required screw is larger than the average one kicking around. Actual product works good.
Peace of Mind
Amazing little security feature. Put one on the man door into my garage where frames tend to be less reinforced for some reason and one on my main door. Recommended by a law enforcement friend due to the increase in a TikTok trend where youth run up and try to kick doors in thinking itâs âfunnyâ. Easy to install. Used the extra long screws included to ensure a solid hold within the door frames. The black matches my existing door hardware so the lock isnât as noticeable against my interior decor.

Very solid construction. Had to inset into the door, but easy to install with two different size screws. Very pleased with purchase.
If you want a reasonably priced, simple security upgrade, for your front, back or side door, this is the one to get. The locking device is well-designed, very strong and quite functional (looks good too!). They included the longer screws to go past the trim board and into the rough-in stud – makes for a much sturdier install. They also included the 1/8th” drill bit in the hardware pack to pre-drill the screw holes. I’ve installed four at this point…two without any mortise work (sufficient gap between door edge and jam for a surface mount and two with mortise work (door edge and jam were closer together). All in all, average install was less than 20 minutes. I felt these were a great value for what you get and extra piece of mind in securing the house…opinions may vary, but I doubt it…enjoy.

I used this on my basement door that needed a second lock. I needed help installing, but my helper had no trouble. I recommend this lock for any door you want more secure.
I use it on our laundry room door, which is outside of our apartment, while I am inside doing laundry to secure the door and it works wonderful. No one is getting in the door! It’s very sturdy, easy to put on.
