Our daugther has just leart to walk confindently around our home and we started looking for a gate to block her access to our kitchen. What drew us to this particular gate was that it had a no drill design and a cam lock mechanism to make it easy to install . However after setting it up I can say that it works well as a no drill design and stays securley shut , however the cam lock mechanism is not that easy to setup correctly and you can easily leave it too loose – enough for the get to latch but not securely lock in place .. in fact I saw a video of another user with the same issue where they could push open the gate just by a little force because it was not adjusted properlyQUALITY AND SETUP- The quality of this gate is top notch with very good and smooth finish all around with no sharp edges or material sticking out- The adjustiblity of this gate is in ranges using fixed length pieces to fill up most of the area you want to block and then using the adjustable cam locks to extend and push against the wall- The no drill design uses strong adhesives to keep the cam lock feet from slipping which can be both a good and a bad thing depending on the way you look at it- Now the biggest challange with this gate is to setup the cam locks tightly enough to make sure that the gate locks properly … you see the gate has two latches .. the first one is a simple sping loaded latch that does not lock and then there is a second latch that is the actual lock … you can easily not tighten the cam locks enough for the second stage lock to not fully engage and thus making it sort of a push door that opens easily as seen in the video of another reviewer .- You have to really tighten the top cam locks hard and use force to make sure that the top of the actuall lock fully engages for a secure fit .- This is not made easier from the insturctions as there were a bit hard for me to follow and understand on how to properly adjust and tighten the cam locksLIKES- Solid construction and workmakship- Easy to open and close by adults but is childproof (when setup correctly)- Drill free design means no marks on the walls after you remove itDISLIKES- As mentioned eariler the cam locks need to be tightend and adjusted properly for it to be baby proof. This coupled with slightly hard to understand instructions leaves a lot of room for errors and potentially dangerous- For these reasons I am taking away one star as the setup while difficult and can be error prone .. the gate is rock solid when adjusted properlyFINAL THOUGHTSOverall this is a very nice gate if you are looking for a no drill desing . However please keep in mind that the setup can be tricky to secure it fully and as a result I would recommend this gate on ground floors only over as a stair /top floor blocking gate .

Love the swinging door, and the vertical bars so animals and kids can’t climb over. The only downfall would be installation was very very difficult to get put together and installed at the door way.
