Battery Issue
After having it for just over 1 year the battery doesnât hold a charge at all.
Excellent picture quality, AWFUL battery life and sound quality
Bought this when our 4 month old moved from her bassinet into a crib in her own room. As a first time Mom I wanted excellent picture quality.. and this monitor did not disappoint. Out of our 3 monitors this one has the best picture quality in this price range. But after 7 months of use, Iâve learned that other features are equally as important and I regret this purchase. What doesnât work for us:⢠The screen auto shuts off (this was never a problem for us) which is advertised as allowing for a longer battery life, but after 7 months of use the monitor battery lasts only 5-10mins before needing to be plugged in⢠The sound is awful and inconsistent.. levels 1, 2, and 3 all sound the same, and levels 4 and 5 sound the same (so really itâs only 2 levels of sound, either too quiet or too loud, there is no in between)⢠The range is interrupted constantly in our small two floor home, canât bring the monitor to any area of the basement that isnât directly under babyâs bedroom

Disappointed with this product. I bought this for the temperature reading and liked the white noise /lullaby feature. The temperature reading is way off and the white noise /lullaby sounds only play for 20 minutes then turns off on it’s own. The battery takes 7 hrs to charge which is fine but the battery life on this is horrible given it’s charged for so long…. When the view is in night vision, the picture is very clear but during the day with colour the picture is a bit blurry given it’s “HD”.
Terrible battery
The battery is terrible. It dies before our babies nap is over which makes it nearly unusable. It’s too bad because otherwise it’s okay but the battery is a critical component so I’d consider other options.
NOT HD!! Cheaply made and company has warranty loop hole!!
I got this product 4 months ago and the power button POPPED OFF on its own. When finding out what was going on, we discovered how cheaply made it is and the button is simply toggled onto a foam piece BALANCING just underneath it. When I tried to get a replacement from the company, they came back with “warranty not covered under accidental damages” — they can call this anything and not cover your product. My baby is 6 months old and this so unprofessional and horrible service. This monitor is going to a landfill and I am stuck with the still-working camera and no way to get a replacement monitor. This is so ridiculous!Other problems: the battery life is 4 to 5 hours ONLY. The picture quality randomly BLURS and will just stay that way until may be the next use. Night vision is not night vision — you can see your baby but it might blur or it is so basic that you cannot see any detail anyway. This was never HD. When the battery is low it beeps really loudly until plugged in. The camera sometimes needs to focus and until it does, it makes a loud repetitious clicking sound as it focuses. Lastly, you cannot change the screen brightness at night and it is blinding, if it is on next to your bed.
Stopped working after 3 months
I raised the antenna as the monitor was too far out of range (on the other side of the house) and the monitor shut off and would not turn back on. When plugged in the camera does not turn back on and makes a strange electrical sound.
This camera worked great for about a month. Then it stopped connecting unless the camera was right next to the monitor. Step one step out of the baby’s room and it’s constantly beeping obnoxiously going in and out of connection. Can’t even connect at all from our bedroom next door. Complained to customer service WELL WITHIN the one year warranty and all they did was stall with no resolution. Of course until the day my warranty expired and I get a message that there’s nothing they can do since the warranty expired ð¡ð¡Absolutely terrible service. If you are going to sell a product AND provide a warranty, stand behind it!!
The battery only stays charged plugged in since day one which was really annoying. I reached out to Amazon they had me contact summer. It took a while to get a response and they wanted all this info which was more of a hassle to do in order to get a battery replacement or whatever they were going to do for me. If I have more kids I will find a better monitor for the future.
I’m not sure how this monitor got so many fantastic reviews. I’ll let the attached picture speak for itself. VERY POOR image quality. And this is supposed to be HD? What a joke! The battery life is also not great. The other thing that I do not like about the camera is that the music button is at the top of the device, right where you’d think the on/off button would be – I have accidentally hit this on many occasions and woke my baby daughter up.
Pricey but good images. Battery could last longer, but we keep it plugged in most of the time.Used for baby.
Terrible night vision. Contacted them they said that night vision might not be working. Donât really believe that. I just got it today. They said they would send me another one but not sure I want it if this is gonna be a problem. Also donât like how white noise turns off after 20min. I leave it on all night. Donât get how this has good reviews. Save your money
