Great product, phenomenal customer service
Bought the baby monitor and camera in August 2024, and loved it right away. Did everything it said it did and was very user friendly. Had no complaints until parent model stopped working properly in Oct. Contacted customer service, recieved a response via email within 24 hours and had the issue resolved. Super happy with the product and customer service. Would definitely buy from hello baby again and reccomend to anyone looking for no wifi baby monitor.
Faulty product
I originally ordered this item from another vendor in 2021 and it worked great until this year. So I decided to order another monitor in January 2024.This monitor stopped working in July 2024 so I reached out to the seller and they agreed to replaced it. I have had it for less than 3 months now and the antenna snapped off. I reached out to the seller and they said it would not be covered warranty. They told me to buy another item at a discounted price.Don’t waste your money on this junk.
Good quality & function for the price
Very good non wifi connection camera for the price, it has a good picture quality and good basic features.We bought this baby monitor as a secondary monitor for our second baby because adding a second camera to our first set up was way more expensive. We have a higher quality and more expensive setup in our first childâs room, and the quality in this one in comparison reflects the price. It is very good for its price point and aside from the occasional glitching on the screen (as mentioned in other reviews) it is not bad. The image quality is of course lower than our first monitor, but is still surprisingly very clear. Pros and cons as below compared to our original $250 infant optics dxr-8 pro camera monitor:Pros: clear quality image in day or night mode; range reaches across our whole house; compares in function to the highest quality camera on the market; no wifi connections; sound is clear; programmable settings work well; small screen makes it portable; easy to install; battery life is great and lasts upwards or a few hours of chargeCons: control of camera movement with buttons is limited (but still functional); the volume control is within the settings on the screen(canât quickly turn it up or down); no mute option for the sound; the glitching of the screen (which doesnât bother us because it lasts mere seconds and the image is still there itâs just a fuzzier green colouring which goes away on its own quickly); materials quality does feel cheaper. Cheaper plastic casings on each device.Overall a very good monitor for its price point. Compares well to the higher quality one we have. Would buy it again and are considering adding more cameras to this one instead of our infant optics one because of the price.
Affordable and compact
I got the hello baby monitor for my childcare business and it has been great. I love that the camera has great rotation so I can adjust the angles from the parent monitor without disturbing sleeping toddlers and it is compact enough that I can carry it around in my yoga tights pocket. It was also very affordable. It is a great monitor and would definitely recommend.
Great Camera, Great Customer Service
This camera has great clarity and the volume is very clear. The night vision is crisp and is perfect for keeping an eye on our little one. We like that it is not connected to the wifi and feel it is safe. Unfortunately we have had a few technical issues however we contacted the company and they are working with us to resolve the issue. I have had to replace the monitor in the past so this is not my first time, however they do back the product with a one year warranty and it is inexpensive enough to replace it even out of warranty, which I had done the first time. If you are looking for an inexpensive monitor with great quality, I would recommend this one over and over.

I like this baby monitor, when I first got it it worked really well and had all good things to say about it. But Iâve had it for about a year and a half now, and although I do still like it, there is one main thing that is starting to annoy me now:First of all, it likes to freeze occasionally, and itâs super frustrating because it beeps randomly if it thinks you are âout of rangeâ. It supposedly goes up to 1000ft for range, but if my kid is sleeping in one room and Iâm across the house in the living room (which is not even close to 1000ft!) itâll freeze and beep on and off. Or if Iâm downstairs and her bedroom is upstairs where the camera, the monitor will often beep even though Iâm basically right below her. So it seems like the range is slowly decreasing, because when I first got it, then it seemed to go a lot farther, I was able to work outside in the yard when my daughter was napping without it beeping. But now I canât even take it outside because itâll beep right away.So It does the job, like during the night it doesnât beep at all and works great, but our two rooms are right beside each other so that helps. But it just annoys me that itâs supposed to have 1000ft of range but it really doesnât.I wouldnât say itâs the most amazing monitor out there, but Iâm still pretty happy with it. It serves its main purpose, which is during the night when weâre all sleeping, itâll turn on if she cries or wakes up. Other than that, during the day itâs not a big deal if Iâm not able to use the monitor, because Iâm awake while she naps and I can still hear her if she starts to cry or wakes up.
Great Monitor & Excellent Customer Service
We were looking for an inexpensive monitor to leave at our cottage. I was a little nervous about the parent unit being so small, but I was pleasantly surprised by the great video quality. It is very clear, even in low light, which gives me peace of mind when checking on my baby at night. I did encounter an issue with charging the parent unit, but their exceptional customer service quickly addressed it, sending us a replacement. Overall, this baby monitor has exceeded my expectations both in performance and customer support. Highly recommend!
I am a mother of 4 and have used a few different monitors over the years, but this HelloBaby by far has been the best. I have used this monitor for 2 of my 4 children, still using it for my 2 year old now, and plan on continuing to use it for our next baby too. I have even been gifted other monitors with all of the fancy bells and whistles that I tried out, but I just end up stopping use of them and going back to this tried and true monitor that I love. This is simple and easy to setup and use, not at all confusing like some others. No wifi or Bluetooth connection. In fact one of my favorite features about this is that it does not have to connect to wifi, which can be spotty, and I have never had to worry about a stranger hacking into our monitor that way. It has great range and reaches all throughout our 4,000 sqft home, and has even worked inside our nextdoor neighbors house too. My husband was still at home, but I carried the monitor over to my neighbor’s with me so that I could watch my baby sleeping. The volume turns up loud and clear so that I can hear it throughout our house, and turns down quiet enough that I myself can get a good night’s sleep without waking up from every little sound that my baby makes. But the lowest setting is still loud enough to wake me if my baby is crying. The picture is crisp and clear, and I love that there is the temperature always displayed so that I know if I need to adjust the heat or air. We have traveled with this so much over the years and always take it with us when we visit family, and have never had trouble with it not working in any of the houses that we have stayed in. I have never found that anything interferes with the connection causing it not to work, and that is most important to me. If there was one thing that I could change about this monitor it would have to be having the time displayed on the screen so that I don’t have to look between my cellphone and monitor for that, but it has not been a problem over the past 4 years of using it. I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a quality simple monitor that doesn’t stress you out setting up and using it.
Não é tão cara quanto as outras e atende muito bem. A câmera gira e pega um bom ângulo. Capta muito bem o som.A bateria dura razoavelmente bem, contudo o fio é longo e não é um problema ficar carregando. Eu estou muito satisfeito
Super bueno, me sorprendió lo fácil que es utilizarlo. Ok a imagen se ve super bien, hasta puedo ver ver pequeños movimientos Como la respiración d mi bebé, en la noche con todas las luces apagadas veo al bebé perfecto, se escuchan asà todos los sonidos igual a la perfección. Estoy impresionada con la nitidez de la a cámara, trae más funciones . Vale muchisimo la pena, pienso ,porque no compre este para mi hijo más grande. Super recomendado.
