Reviews

  1. My niece loved this one. It helped her.

  2. Nice simple book to get your little one ready for potty training. The pictures look great and keeps the attention of your little one. The instructions the book has to help with potty training are good stops to take to make sure you and your child are ready for potty training. Using this book really can make potty training a little bit easier.

  3. This book is over 20 pages in length and follows a potty super star from their first time using the potty to being diaper free and a potty superstar. It coves the subject fully in easy to understand language for girls. Not too.much text on each page.

  4. This is a very cute book. We got it for my 2.5 yr old who is currently going through a going on 3 month potty training regression. I would say that the comprehension level of this book is for 2 and up. It’s a little longer than most potty books we’ve bought for her. So if your little one has a pretty short attention span (hers is getting better/longer), then they may not be ready for this book. But I love how they frame things in terms of encouraging little ones. My daughter now wants us to read it every night as she sits on the potty. It’s one of her latest bedtime delaying mechanisms, but we don’t mind it as she gets really in to it and actually makes her want to use the toilet. Definitely recommend this book if you are in the midst of potty training, or even better, just starting out.

  5. Believe it or not, you can actually give instructions on potty training that are somewhat explicit without making it gross. That’s what the author has done here. She has turned potty training into an adventure that instills confidence in a child who is learning this somewhat difficult skill. She even goes into the importance of washing hands. She teaches important information like wiping in the proper direction as well. None of it is gross though. It is handled in a beautiful way in very simple words that a young child can understand. It lets a child know that she will not be successful every single time, and that’s OK. I would say that this is definitely geared toward a girl. I don’t see any pictures of a male child standing up to urinate. It indicates that urination happens while sitting on the toilet. It’s a fantastic little book for a young child though. Super happy I found it.
