Bought for grandchild . Research says that babies only start to see objects in black and white as they grow so this little book is great ! It really keeps our grandchild focused and entertained during âtummy time and diaper changes . Very easy to pack in a bag when traveling . I have a one week old preemie baby and tried this book with her and it was AMAZING how she focused so much on the images. As I was moving the book from side to side and up to down, her eyes were actually following it. I havenât seen her focus on anything so far like that. I know the strings on it are so that it can be attached to the crib, etc, but I did find them a bit annoying when trying to put the book close to my babyâs face while she layed down. Strings kept going on her face. Other wise, Love it!

Looks like the picture but totally soft. Thought from images it might be lined with cardboard or something that would allow it to be propped up. If you don’t have somewhere to attach it, it is kind of useless.
