The Swaddle Sack is the perfect solution for babies who prefer to sleep with arms up and to have access to their hands, and the safer option for older babies to bridge the gap from swaddling to wearable blankets. The Swaddle Sack design features unique arms up sleeves with foldover mitten cuffs that may be worn open or closed and allow baby to self-soothe. The Swaddle Sack design is snug which helps baby feel supported and secure, and features a hip healthy design that allows hips and knees to flex. It’s convertible and easy to use. Simply place baby in the sack and zip up! The Swaddle Sack features a 2-way zipper so diaper changes are easy, just unzip from the bottom to access the diaper. The Swaddle Sack arms up design allows baby to sleep in a natural position and self-soothe for comfort. Babies who are able to self-soothe are calmer and sleep better. The foldover mitten cuffs may be worn open so baby can suck on fingers, or the foldover mitten cuffs can be closed to cover hands if the caregiver is concerned about facial scratches, and baby can still access his or her hands for self-comfort. Patent pending design. Machine washable.

Transitioning out of Love to Dream Swaddles
My 3 month old started rolling onto his tummy recently and unfortunately the Love to Dream swaddles didn’t provide him with enough freedom to push himself up if he rolled over during the night. So I decided to try the swaddle design sleep sack. It was honestly the closest sleep sack to the one we’d been using and my boy was not ready to have his arms completely free. He is all limbs and his startle reflex is strong! The 3/4 length sleeve gives him just enough arm extention so he can move and prop himself up if needed while still stiffling his startle reflex so he doesn’t scare himself awake. I also love that I can open up the mittens in the morning when he snuggles and plays in my bed after he wakes.
Cute & Functional
Very soft material, super cute and it does help with the startle reflex when I put my baby down. I just wish it was a little thicker/warmer. It’s not thin material but in the winter it’s obviously cold and even in the summer because of the a/c but you could easily put another sleep sack on top of this one. Nice sleep sack! I love how hands can be in or out, keeps baby’s hands warm and I don’t have to worry about him choking on a mitten since he’s teething and chewing his hands.
Me encanta para ahora que mi bebé tiene 3 meses y está en transición para dormir con sus manitas sueltas. Me encanta.Además que es facil cambiar el pañal en la noche sin tener que quitarle todoMuy buena calidad. Fresco y suavecitoLi recomiendo mucho
Our daughter started working on rolling from belly to back around 2.5 months, and by 3 months, she was getting a bit too big for her SwaddleMe wrap-style swaddles. She seems to go to sleep faster and sleep better while swaddled, and tends to wake herself up or distract herself if her hands and arms are totally free (so sleep sacks were out), so we tried out a few different transitional swaddles. We tried the SwaddleMe pod-style first, but the neck was too big and she kept pulling her arms up through the neck hole. I didn’t think the SwaddleDesigns sack with arms would work because I worried she’d fuss with her arms, but the slightly shorter arms (which evidently help gently combat the startle reflex) and the ability to cuff or uncuff them has been perfect. She sleeps so well in them and I honestly think they’ve helped her get better at recognizing when it’s naptime or bedtime–when she’s drowsy and ready for sleep, I pop her in and she almost always starts sleepily rubbing her face with her little covered hand and soothing herself to sleep, and for early morning wake-ups, when we don’t want to get out of bed but she’s up and going, we uncover one or both hands and she happily distracts herself for a bit longer before we get up. They’re so much easier for the occasional middle of the night diaper change because you can zip up from the bottom, and they’re foolproof in terms of fit because all you do is zip them up (no worry about Velcro being too tight or too loose). I also love that I can leave her in it for any middle of the night or early morning nursing, when I plan on her going back to sleep after–she likes to have her hands out to rest on my chest, so the wrap-style swaddles were a pain because I’d have to unwrap her (LOUD Velcro noise) and then get her wrapped back up when we finished (lots of jostling)–with these, I just pick her up, nurse, and put her back. She doesn’t roll in her sleep at this point, but I feel comfortable knowing she has her arms free in this and is safe if she does shift around. All in all, I’m really pleased with these (I have two, and honestly could probably use a third). Bonus: She looks like a little snow angel when she sleeps because of the shape of them. 🙂
Bought this for my 3+ month old daughter who likes to sleep with her hands above her head. We tried several products to help improve sleep. This sleep sack made 3-4 hour nighttime sleeps to 6-8 hours overnight. I am finally able to catch up on my own sleep!!
We used the love to dream but my baby grew out of it and this was the perfect transition. I like that the hands can be in or out and they have more room to move so when he does roll he can lift and roll back.
My daughter refused to sleep as a newborn. I had to hold her for her to sleep; she’d wake up she second she was on her back. Finally figured out that swaddling helped. She would only sleep when swaddled but had starting breaking out of her swaddle (she could even wiggle an arm out of the velcro ones!) So we turned to this sleep sack for transitioning. I bought a 3-6 month size for my daughter when she was 8 weeks old and about 10 pounds (so that she could grow into it). It was a perfect fit. I was skeptical bc it seems just like pajamas… but something about it just made sleeping through the nights finally click for her. She slept 8 hours straight the 2nd night she had it. This continued for 5 out of the following 8 nights. From then on, she consistently slept through the night. At 3 months, we took out one hand. Around a week later we took out the other hand. Now she’s 4.5 months old and doesn’t need a sleep sack at all. She sleeps 10-12 hours straight every night. We are so lucky! She went from being the worst sleeper to the best sleeper!I do think the sizes run a little small. She’s only 14 pounds now and her legs are too long to fit in it anymore.
