I wanted to love these, but maybe itâs just a personal opinion, I hated the feel of them. They werenât overly soft to begin with, and the star/moon pattern on them was actually quite rough/itchy, which I donât think our newborn would have appreciated
I recently purchased the SwaddleMe by Ingenuity Compression Swaddle Pod in Velboa, and it has been a game-changer for both my baby and me. This 2-pack is perfect for newborns aged 0-2 months.Pros:The fabric is incredibly soft and gentle on my baby’s delicate skin. It’s also breathable, ensuring that my baby stays comfortable and doesn’t overheat.The compression swaddle design is excellent for calming the startle reflex. My baby sleeps more soundly and stays asleep longer, almost too much!The two-way zipper is a fantastic feature. It makes diaper changes a breeze without having to fully unswaddle the baby. This is especially helpful during nighttime changes when you want to disturb your baby as little as possible.Cons:The swaddle is designed for babies 0-2 months, so it has a limited usage window and with a two week old, it seems it won’t last much longer. However, given how much it has improved my baby’s sleep during this critical period, I find it well worth the investment.Overall Experience:The SwaddleMe has significantly improved my baby’s sleep quality and reduced the frequency of night wakings due to the startle reflex. Despite the size limitation, I highly recommend this product for those first couple of months when sleep is crucial for both the baby and the parents.
I have bought 3 of these sleep sacks but only 1 worked out well. One had a pokey spot near the neck/zipper that scratched my babyâs neck in the night and the other was too tight (even though they all say 0-2 months). The one that doesnât have an issue we love and use every night- nice and snug but he can still move a little bit in it (heâs 10.5 lbs, 21 in.) So just a crap shoot if youâll get one youâll like.

I like the quality, feel and look of these but they are pretty small. My baby was born 20in long and it did not make it to 2 months for us. She outgrew these by about a month old with her feet pulling the top down. They are also fairly wide and she would easily pull her hands up to her mouth or out of the top opening.
I love this swaddle. This is my 3rd baby and I have previously used a lot of flannel blanket swaddling (just for the first few weeks) and Halo swaddles (gets the job done, but annoying to have the velcro). These are so simple, and my daughter loves that she can have her hands up by her face. My one issue with this is there is no bigger size in this fabric! My winter babies need warmer swaddles than plain cotton, like most of the swaddles this company makes (which are also great), but I had to switch her to something else once she quickly grew out of this one.
