This swaddle keeps my little one so snug and calm, I finally get some sleep too. The “sunset space” design is adorable, and the fabric feels so soft against the baby’s skin. Absolutely recommend to any new parents out there!
I bought this for my baby and I think the idea is better than the execution. At least for me, my baby wasn’t tall enough to fit in this well. There is also an opening at the but, which I assume is to allow you to change a diaper without fully unswaddling, but it was just an awkward opening that she was falling out of. It looked cute, is a nice fabric and soft, but just not practical in my opinion.
After 3 babies, I still don’t know how to swaddle with a blanket without baby escpaing. I’ve tried a number of these velcro swaddles over the years and they work fairly well – this particular one comes at a nice price point with a gender neutral pattern. With the number of spit ups and blow outs you might be dealing with the first few months, it’s probably better to get a 3 pack but it’s nice to have the 1 pack option if you just want to test it out to see if you like it.
I ordered the Ingenuity SwaddleMe Monogram Collection Swaddle after seeing the SwaddleMe brand recommended by a few different reputable registry resources, including Lucie’s List. I really like that the SwaddleMe swaddle is intuitive to use, foolproof, and the Velcro makes it easy to quickly fasten as well as remove. Love that the swaddle is breathable and 100% cotton. I also like that there’s an access flap at the bottom so you can do a quick diaper change without having to undo the entire swaddle.I appreciate that this swaddle is at a reasonable price point for a few reasons – babies can I have preferences for swaddles so it’s a risk to buy a higher end, pricier swaddle the baby may not even like, and with SwaddleMe you can stock up on a few so if one’s in the washing machine you still have another available.
