Iâm really happy with this purchase! Bought this for a storage system, and it works perfectly and fills all the criteria I was seeking for in a hygrometer. It is simple, sleek, and the software (iOS) is top-notch. (The quarter used in the photo is used for reference on its width). Iâm able to connect to the Meter using Bluetooth, and see up-to-date information on the temperature and humidity, straight from the app. This is perfect as I want to keep those levels constant in my storage system. Through the app, Iâm also able to see the past historical data (up to 36 days). This is perfect for my scientific-mind! Would get another for future storage systems, or even for around the house. 5/5, would recommend.
Sensor, display & BT connection good; “Hub” needed for wifi unclear
1 star knocked off because the item listing should be more clear explaining what it means by the “Hub” that is needed for Wifi (non-bluetooth) app connectivity.The Hub, it turns out, is a separate device that needs to be purchased. I misunderstood this in the listing, assuming it just meant the app. Mostly my fault for not looking more into the details and confirming, and also, it would have been mitigated by the listing providing a more explicit description and/or link to the Hub.The sensor and display seem great so far. I was happy with the small size and mounting options. The app is user-friendly and intuitive to navigate (with a cheeky caveat: when connected by Bluetooth in close-ish range).
Great for monitoring and automating actions based on humidity/temperature
Iâve been using the SwitchBot Meter in my basement to keep an eye on the humidity levels, and itâs been super helpful. I have it connected to the SwitchBot Hub Mini and the SwitchBot Bot, so when the humidity gets too high, it automatically turns on my bathroom fan to keep things under control.The Meter is really accurate, and the display is clear and easy to read. I also like being able to check the humidity and temperature right from the app on my phone, even when Iâm not home. Itâs small, simple to set up, and works exactly as it should.If you need something reliable to monitor humidity or temperature and want to automate things like fans or dehumidifiers, this is perfect. Itâs been a great addition to my setup!

30ft Bluetooth range, changes slowly
Takes a long time to show the true temperature of the room, but it works well and has been in continuous operation without a battery change from October 30th until now, Dec 6th.I use 2 of them outside, one for the greenhouse and one for the outside temperature reading in the shade. They withstand freezing temperatures and over 30C without issues.The Bluetooth works at a range of about 30ft through the greenhouse wall and a closed window in my case.

Have bought 3 pieces of this thermometer. Very good on quality display and accuracy, much helping for me to monitor temperature in whole house remotely. The only thing need to improve is the magmatic force which to attach to the refrigerator door. It’s too weak and very easy to drop on floor. Thanks for the solid quality, it’s still working good. I have adhesiving four pieces very strong magnets on the back and satisfied now.
Perfect for monitoring humidity
I have a closet that i cure cannabis plants in, i need to maintain a very specific humidity range when drying the plants to maintain their peak flavour. so this really helps me keep the humidity levels in that curing closet perfect. great value too.

Después de un tiempo buscando un termómetro que pudiera conectar al WiFi de la casa, para poder saber la temperatura a través de mi asistente de Google, descubrà este entre otros. Todos adolecen del mismo ‘fallo’. Necesitan un Hub para unirlos al control del hogar, pero en el caso de Switchbot querÃa usar dos aparatos, asà que era una inversión aceptable, y además, el Hub tiene una versión mini con un precio contenido.Es muy preciso, en el fondo simplemente es un termómetro con conexión WiFi, pero su gran ventaja radica en que puede usarse para disparar escenas. Por ejemplo, se puede programar junto a un bot para que, si la casa sube de 28° encienda el aire acondicionado, o si baja de 18° encienda la calefacción. Dependiendo de lo preparado que este nuestro hogar podemos incluso hilar más fino. Si la habitación en la que está el termómetro baja de x temperatura, que solo se caliente ess habitación, ya que es la del bebé. Y asà unas cuantas más posibilidades.Yo lo tengo en el exterior para saber cuál es la temperatura de la calle, pues no la misma la media de la ciudad que nos proporciona internet, que la de la zona en la que vivamos, puede llegar a diferir 3 o 4 grados tranquilamente.La forma de instalarlo es pared es sumamente cómoda. Viene una pequeña pieza metálica con un adhesivo 3M. Lo adherimos donde queramos y el termómetro tiene un pequeño imán dentro. Asà que podemos colocarlo con toda seguridad, y sin ningún esfuerzo descolgarlo para llevarlo a otra estancia o cambiarle la pila cuando toque. Las pilas deben durar una barbaridad, tengo el invento hace más de un mes, y aún no ha bajado ninguna rayita.En definitiva, es un buen producto, bien fabricado, a buen precio, que cumple su función y nos abre un mundo de posibilidades. Adolece no obstante del mismo fallo que muchos de estos inventos domóticos, no puede disparar domótica de otras marcas. Si tengo un termostato Nest, Switchbot no puede encender la calefacción programando una escena. Solo podrÃa hacerlo si la calefacción la controla un switchbot bot. Lo digo para despistados.

I’ve found them easy to setup & they all work perfectly.Setup (Bluetooth)I used the iOS app (you need to create a SwitchBot account). The app is user friendly & does not crash.Insert the batteries into the meter, open the app & press + to add a new device & then add a meter.To pair press & hold the button on the back of the meter until the Bluetooth symbol is displayed on the LCD screen. The app finds the meter almost instantly.Finally give it a name, E.G. Living Room, Kitchen, Fridge, etc.Note: This setup only allows you to view the meter readings (temperature & humidity) & ~30 day history from the app. I placed my first one in the garage to keep an eye on the temperature of my beer during the hot summer weather. It is easy to check the temperature & humidity from the app & therefore no need to go into the garage.The SwitchBot support site includes a lot of useful information & I have used the SwitchBot support via email to check if I could put one of these meters into the fridge. I got a response within a few hours & the answer was YES :). It has been working fine for over a month.AdditionallyI also purchased the SwitchBot Hub Plus so that I can say “Alexa, what’s the temperature of the living room” or “Alexa, what’s the temperature of the garage?”, etc. using the names of the meters you have setup.Note: Humidity is not supported yet with AlexaSwitchBot Hub Plus was also easy to setup & has worked without issue for more than 2 months. I chose the plus version because it is powered from the mains supply. Prodotto valido, piccolo e dotato di placchetta metallica per posizionarlo a qualunque altezza poggiato a muro. La precisione è buona ma, ne ho presi vari e tutti segnano la stessa temperatura. Se avete un termometro professionale c’è la possibilità di tararlo. L’app è fatta bene ed è facile da consultare.Insieme all’hub (mini o plus) è possibile renderlo smart e utilizzarlo con i vari Google home o Amazon Alexa.Uno è messo fuori da mesi e sta ancora funzionando seppur non sia certificato per esterno (chiaramente non gli faccio prendere acqua)
