I have xoxo tot one which is plastic and smaller for portability. This makes baby food prep so much easier for small and large portions alike.Itâs slightly curved on the mash surface and sides so you can mash right in your bowls. Easy to wash. Stainless steel. Perfect handle length, just long enough to give some leverage/room when mashing bigger portions. Itâs pricey but I havenât found any better alternatives, and Iâve been looking for months. No regrets though.
Best Avocado Masher …… Period
Works great. Best ever. I used to use a fork for avocado mashing, which did work most of the time, so long as the fruit was ripe. If the Avocado was a bit under ripe, the fork method was incredibly difficult.With this masher, works every-time. Easy to use, and the small size fits perfectly into a bowl for mashing.!00% worth every penny.

Great for guacamole
It’s a specialized tool but we make a lot of guac, so extremely happy with the purchase. Lets us mash in a small container and so far it’s going great in the dishwasher

Works even on more firm things like canned beans. Easy to clean.Only bad thing is the hook on top. Canât press down on it from above. The shape of the hook isnât comfortable for putting a thumb through. The handle is slippery, so have to grip it hard to get much pressure for firmer things like canned beans. But it holds up to the pressure.
Guacamole game changer
My kids eat a lot of guacamole. And I am the designator masher. So I got this thing and it has made the job quick and easy. Itâs really sturdy and just the right size to mash an avocado or two in a bowl. The mashing surface is also slightly curved to contour the bottom of a bowl. Genius!

This is an excellent quality, sharp, sturdy, professional item. Be aware that it is very small. You won’t mash potatoes for a table of 4 or more with this, but for some more rare ingredients, or for baby sizes, this is what’s needed.
This masher is so handy! It fits into a garbanzo can to make quick hummus. It is perfect for guacamole, mashed potatoes and so much more! Well made and useful.
This is perfect for me. I use it most everyday to crush berries for my breakfast yogurt. It’s very strong and rinses cleanly. I appreciate the smaller size to use in smaller bowls and pots. I appreciate putting it into the dishwasher or a utensil drawer with no issues. It’s really an excellent product.
I checked out several from different vendors, both here on Amazon, and elsewhere looking for an avocado masher (or mini-masher), and this one was both more economical, and looked sharper than other options. I use this to mash avocados with for avocado toast, every morning. If you eat a lot of avocados, it is great. It’s stainless steel, solid as it gets. Well designed, and looks sharp.
I had thought it would be a direct size replacement from my last masher Instead, it has a lot smaller footprint.Which if you have weaker arms or smaller hands will actually be better than trying to mash too much potato at once. It is very well made and sturdy. It will give you less lumps than some. And easier to fit in a top drawer.
