Excellent Book
Absolutely love the recipes! My baby loves the food. This book has made coming up with meals such a breeze. I couldnât be happier
Looks great
I have taken a look at the book and it looks great. Some recipes are really simple and could be just searched on the internet, but I like the classification by age and the print. I will be using this book to cook for baby.
Good for planners
Good book but I never felt it was a go-to book many recipes were Too complex for the little time I had
Love the layout!
So in love with this book! I couldn’t begin to describe how great it is. Recommend this to anyone making baby food or just starting your baby out on solids and need nutritional information.
I love this book
I love this book! There’s a great variety of recipes to try so my little one can expand her pallet.
Three Stars
This cookbook was okay. Had hoped for more. I didnât think a recipe for a simple purée was necessary
Five Stars

Great book for making baby food
Good book but I bought similar to this on App Store and I prefer that one.
some good recipes but too many that are just one ingredient, it is not necessary to have one whole page on how to do a puree with just one vegetable. use of butter in some cases.
We’ve been using this since my son started eat and is now 13 months. This has been our go to book. It tells you what you can substitute and gives tips etc. My son enjoys the food. I LOVE how you reuse the ingredients throughout the recipes. That is great so if you have to buy something expensive to use just a little bit then what do you do with the rest? You can use it in the rest of the recipes! We use the basic recipe and improvise. It tells you how long it’ll freeze and refrigerate for. Has color photo’s … not hard to make recipes. Some recipes my son did not like (which is no fault of the book or authors) but he loved most of them! All the recipes are easy and it gives simple ideas that you may not have thought of. These recipes can be used throughout the child’s life! Adults can eat the food too. Love the book!
So who would have thought that your life – culinarily speaking – would get so much more complicated when the little ones started eating? Not me, that’s for sure!It used to be so easy – feed Mom just about anything that wouldn’t make her sick, and which doesn’t contain alcohol or too much caffeine, and VOILA – balanced, delicious diet for baby. Not so much anymore. Now, not only to we need to consider what’s nutritious, but also what can they chew, make things tasty to them, maintain variety so they don’t get used to the same stuff every day, and a dozen other factors. We’ve found that this book is very helpful. Not only does it have some nice recipes to help us introduce more variety into our childrens’ diet, but it has them categorized by age – helping us to gradually introduce them to more complex food choices. We have found that some great recipe ideas in here can also be split apart into their components – for example, there is a recipe for coconut milk rice pudding with apricot swirl – and we have served a variety of fruit purees with the rice pudding, and have served the apricot puree with cereal and other grains. Finally, we use this book as a reference and guide for when to introduce new foods and textures. I look forward to progressing into the toddler years using this book as a guide. A great purchase!
The first recipes in this book (which is beautiful, by the way … great pictures) are super simple, and quite repetitive, as far as preparation instructions go. I am okay with this, as my cooking leaves much to be desired, and I’m not capable of “winging it”. Others may find it too simplistic for them. But in my case, I am happy to have the guidance regarding how long to steam different fruits/veggies before pureeing them. The recipes get more interesting for older babies, and appear to be well-balanced. My baby isn’t old enough for those recipes yet, but they are simple, look yummy, and I will definitely be using them.So if you’re a great cook, you probably don’t need this book. But I have found it very helpful so far, and appreciate the simple recipes, and also the little tips on adding variety (these are found on nearly every recipe).
