But my kids love it.
My twins love Thomas and this book is perfect for distracting them from how long they sit on the potty before they go. They love all the sounds!
I got this for my grandson for his 2nd birthday and he loved it !

The pictures and sounds are fun for a child but the pottying training is just a little box with the blurb about potty training. I thought it would be more about Thomas talking about potty training.
This is a story of Thomas getting his tank filled, not emptied. For my 3-year-old, who seems reluctant to potty train, I was disappointed. We love Thomas, but the analogy of filling up a tank seems an odd one, when it would be so easy to focus on an ashbin getting filled and Thomas needing to empty it. I was really hoping this would be a not-too-gross way to talk about what our bodies do.
