The perfect lawn chair
When I ordered this chair I thought to myself Iâll probably have to send it back but much to my surprise it is well built. My only complaint is Iâm on the shorter side so Iâll need a foot stool but plenty of room and comfortable. Thank You Timber Ridge for thinking about larger folks and building a sturdy chair.
Big guys rejoice
I have only used one camping trip, but worked really well. As a 6â3â 250lbs guy it was comfortable and had good back support. It also folds up nicely and easy to transport to the beach or another campsite, which is why we wanted it
Great chair for big people.
I’m 6 ft 5 and 380 lbs. Chair is comfortable and a great size and height. Very sturdy. I bought another big chair from Amazon but this is the better of the two.
Sturdy, comfortable chair
Great chair — no worries for our heavier visitors — strong, sturdy and folds up well. Even our cats liked to sleep on it. Terrific buy.
Wow
Super solid and sturdy. Comfortable and a beverage holder with bag.
Solid
The chair is solid and sturdy. Feel very well supported as an overweight individual. However, to be sturdy, the chair is a bit rigid. The chair is practical and useful, but lacks a bit of comfort in order to create the solid support.
Exactly what you need for going out, parties, camping or festival type events.
Very comfortable, stable, never worried about the strength of it. I am a really big guy and needed something solid and this is a great product for the price.
AMAZING CHAIR!
Very comfortable and my partner (160kg) says the chair is great. A bit heavy to carry around to go to the beach for example, but I donât care because it has to be heavy to âhandleâ the weight of the user! It has pockets and a bottle holder, I love it
I attend a lot of soccer games and practices. I’m always on the go having to lug around big heavy chairs. I originally wanted the Yeti chair, but $300 is a bit much. I settled on this one, and it did not disappoint. It’s got every single thing I need. It’s got a carrier bag so I don’t have to bring my cart or carry my other less comfortable chair that is difficult to carry due to my back. It’s got a cup holder and pockets for my keys and phone. It’s easy to set up and take down. Plus, the price is very reasonable. The build qualify is great and very sturdy, nothing about it feels cheap. The weight for the size and dimensions of it is insanely low. My only issue with this model wad the lack of color options. But really, when it comes down to it, that means very little to me.
Not only sturdy, strong, stable, and solid, but incredibly comfortable too! The makers of this chair didn’t stop with stability and comfort but provided well thought out extras that are not found anywhere else. Like a beverage holder that is hidden under the seat that swings out available when you need it and a large flap that hangs off one side with pockets for books, magazines, snacks, or whatever. There’s a good sized pocket with a velcro cover that the carry bag for the chair fits snugly into. The armrests are covered with rolled canvas that is surprisingly comfortable and located at a comfortable height and position. The legs have swiveling feet that would increase stability on uneven surfaces. The back is at just the right angle for sitting up straight or allowing you to slightly recline. This is the Cadillac of portable outdoor chairs. It’s a little heavy but worth the tote for the comfort. It feels padded, in fact it feels like sitting in your living room chair. This chair costs a little more but the quality and benefit of comfort is so great it’s a bargain. If you are heavy like me, 317 lbs today, or just a regular size person, this is the best portable chair for you.
The chair was everything I was looking for. It is sturdy and of good quality. My husband is a stout, large and tall, older man. Previous chairs of this type always looked small for him and uncomfortable. This one matched his size perfectly. He sat in it easily, and was able to get out of it. The only concern was that it was not going to be as easily portable over distances, due to bulky size. He is looking into using something with wheels to cart it around. The quality and fit of the chair is worth this one inconvenience. It does fold up and unfold nicely. The attachments are well made. It is a great chair.
As I have said a couple times, I don’t usually write reviews but I had to put a lot of work in to find the right chair for my wife and I. I’m a big guy, 6’7″ 305lbs and when my wife asked me to get a couple of these for going to our R/C Flight club or down to the river, I knew I had my work cut out for me.She wanted to get these $34 cooler chairs and while those are nice, they’re not super sturdy at the best of times, especially not with someone my size sitting in them. I did some research and after going through several “heavy duty” chairs and trying a bunch at the local stores, we decided to get a set of these. They showed up and after unboxing, they were in a really nice storage bag. Not one of those super thin ones either. It’s got some kind of lining on the inside material or so it looked to me. Nice and durable.Set up is easy, just unfold and have a seat! The blue version from the company comes with a nice bag for your magazine or phone, and a swing out cup holder (the black did not, important to note…it was $10 cheaper). The metal is nicely coated tube design and very firm feeling. Not that flimsy aluminum stuff, this is a steel frame chair. Material feels thick and sturdy, something that is going to hold up pretty well with some simple care. The arms are a solid tube so you can rest on them with ease, again, not a floppy piece of cloth. Use them to get up and sit down, they can take it. Feet are on a rocker design so they’ll adapt to weird ground but have little treads so they don’t slide around once you set it up. The seat doesn’t have weird plastic rivets on the side (Like the $34 dollar one did) and it doesn’t have a metal bar under the front of the cloth digging into your thighs. Speaking of the seat, did I mention it was roomy? My tookus fit with room to spare and relax and spread out in. You’re not going to get pinched here if you know what I mean.Folding it up took about 5 seconds to figure out. Stand in back of the chair and pull the arms towards you and inwards. It DID fit back into the bag too which was nice because if you’ve done camping gear before, you know that’s usually impossible.Overall I couldn’t be more pleased with these (so far) and I figured, since I had to work my butt off to find something that would fit me, be sturdy and be comfortable, I’d leave a review so someone else doesn’t have to work as hard as I did to find something good.If I had to give it a con, it weighs like 16 pounds in the bag. Heavy? Meh…it’s heavier than the $34 one than came in at 8 pounds but it’s a *steel* framed chair, it’s going to weigh more. Maybe if you’re looking for a chair to haul up a mountain or go hiking with, this isn’t it. If you’re going to go somewhere, haul them out of your car, 16 pounds is nothing and I’d have some really serious problems if I couldn’t handle that LOL.Long story short, if you’re looking for a great big guy chair, this is it. It costs more but you’re getting solid quality that is comfortable. I’d rather pay more for something I can use season after season instead of it breaking at the end of the summer and I have to get another.
I looked at the Yeti chair but it is too expensive. I think this chair is just as nice and the price is unbeatable! The chair is very well made and it folds up easily. The chair is comfortable and lightweight.
