First time mom. I have gone through many bibs fort 6month old and found this to be really good. Fits well around the neck (still get some food under neck and a little around the neckline, but not fussed by it), easy to clean, easy to pack and go. Can have lap pocket if you want, or not, either way, catches food easily. I bought another one to have as extra incase they ever discontinue
