My granddaughter is a bit hesitant when wearing water wings in the pool. Once this was on her and she was secured, she was swimming all over the pool with confidence. I like that the clasp requires additional attention to releasing it, and that reduces the chance of it accidentally coming open during use. The colors are bright and cheerful as well. The stitching on the item is well done with no loose strings or missed stitching. While it doesn’t replace adult supervision in the pool, I can now let her go paddling around on her own without the need to be right beside her.
The swim vest works well for my 5-year-old. It keeps her afloat while she gains confidence in the water. The adjustable buckle at the back ensures a secure fit and I like that it stays out of reach of little hands. The material feels sturdy, and the bright colors make it easy to spot her in the pool. One thing to note is that getting the vest on and off can take a little effort when wet. It would be even better with slightly softer arm openings for added comfort. Other than that, itâs good for helping kids feel more comfortable in the water.

I purchased this for my 4 year old to wear during a swim vacation. She was wearing it for the second day and it looked loose. I went to tighten the strap and saw it was literally holding on by a thread. Thankfully it had not completely ripped, that could have been catastrophic.
After the struggle of getting this in the toddler she liked it. It seems to work but definitely recommend still keeping an eye on your kid the whole time.
