Perfect size for swaddling. It’s not too warm and it’s a nice thickness when I take my child outside.
It is nice material but it is not 40×40, it is 40×32⦠see picture it is obviously a rectangle not a square. The elephant one that I ordered 3 years ago in second picture is actually 42×34, even tho it also says 40×40 on the tag, it is a much better size for swaddling, this one is just a little short. The fabric does have a bit of stretch tho and my babies like it better than other swaddle blankets.
