Great product!
I absolutely love these. These particular ones dont fit on larger cups, which is perfect for us. Love that my kids can use glass and not plastic. I dont like the silicone straws with these lids though, you have to push the straws in before you put the lid on or the liquid spills out. I do however love these straws for the glass water bottles I pack with my kids lunches. They squish into the bottle but are long enough when they open the bottle.
Too messy
I like that the lids keep spills from happening however the tiniest bit of pressure pushing down on the lid causes liquid to shoot out of the straw. Once this was discovered by my toddler it because his new focus causing too much mess.
What a brilliant and fantastic tool to have.
We bought this for when our grandkids come over. Itâs a brilliant gadget to have. Only one issue: if you press down on it, the liquid squirts out the straw similar to squeezing a juice box. Other than that, Iâve been using this and the kids love it. The different colours are perfect distinguishing between the kids and I can pop them into my purse for whenever Iâm out and need them. Seriously, a very great gadget thatâs useful and not clutter as most are. Highly recommended.
Steer clear
These are trash, avoid at all costs. We use the silikids silicone lids and we were looking for something similar since we couldn’t find those online. These looked the part but man are they garbage. They are insandy hard to stretch, even to put onto small kids cups. They don’t seal well at all and we have leaks all the time.
good quality
I was looking for an alternative to straws, because of the environmental impact. I use the straws mostly for my girls (6 and 8 years old.) The other covers I use for my smaller nephews. They fit pretty much every regular cup I have.
I mean maybe theyâll work for you?!!
My little guy didnât have any success with these.. that straws are too big and they are very flimsy.. the company that sent them and delivery time were great.. just not the most functional product.
Silicone straw cup lids
These are great for my daughters small cups. I don’t have to worry about spills, it seals it really well. Straws are great because they’re soft, little tall because I use them for small cups but they definitely do the job. Air hole doesn’t let out too much air so sometimes the drink comes through straw when putting on the lid but I’m planning to just make that opening a little bigger. I really love these and really do save spills!
Useful, but not perfect
Overall this product is good. I tried to take one off of a glass and it ripped. Also because the straws are so flexible if you have a smoothie in the cup, it just seals instead of pulling up the smoothie. Overall they work well, they do not stick on all cups. I do not think they will last a very long time, but I am definitely going to use them while I have them. For juice or water this product is terrific!
These are great to throw in the bottom of the purse or diaper bag to use at restaurants. My husband cut one straw so it would fit better on smaller cups, and that was ideal for our 18 month old. I didnât particularly love that the straws and lids donât match in color, like the straws are five different colors than the lids, but they coordinated enough so it still worked for our family. Iâd recommend these to anybody.
So I am a grown woman, and I really love these things. I was looking for something to make some of my regular cups into to-go cups. These work great for iced coffee and what not and the silicone straws are really nice. Only flaw is the air hole to stop suction needs a little help. In the video you can see what Iâm talking about but I had to made the air hole just a little bit bigger. Iâm sure the hole just barely opens to make it spill proof, but Iâm fine with a little dribble if I tip it over. I used scissors to cut a tiny hole where the air slit is, like not bigger than a millimeter, and that solved the problem. These fit a variety of cup sizes. So Iâm sure theyâre great for toddlers but also for adults! The straw hole also fits any of my other reusable straws.
They are a bit tricky to get on, especially for larger hands. We use them on different size cups and they do fit nicely once you get the hang of it. As for being spill proof or leak proof, not so much. Once you put the straw in, water or milk sometimes shoots out the straw. Havenât mastered not having that happen yet.
After spending months trying to match sippy cup lids to their correct bottoms this silicone lid has been a dream! I love that I can pull it over any cup. Saves me so much time! It takes some time to get the hang of stretching the lid onto the cup without spilling the cup. But once you get it done its great.Now onto the straws. They are also silicone and super flimsy. Hard to clean. Super long. I would prefer stiff straws or none at all. We tried to use them a few times and now just use stainless steel ones we already had.
These barley fit over a sippy cup. When trying to stretch them over a cup, you could easily spill the cup yourself. Now, if you do get them on a cup and the cup tips, it won’t leak. BUT if you touch the top at all, you have now made a water gun/drink gun bc the liquid shoots out of the straw.It says these are for toddlers but definitely NOT for kids at all!I do not recommend these at all and wish I could return them but no UPS nearby ð
