I received this item as a part of my membership with Amazon Vine. I had previously gotten a pack of velvet hangers that are flat, and i love them. The velvet keeps clothing from shifting around on the hanger while in the closet and i appreciate that! Unfortunately, none of the ones i ordered came with any clips so when i saw the clips available separately i jumped to order them. These fit perfectly with the flat velvet hangers, likely because they are made specifically for the type of hanger i have! Its very simple to clip them into place and they are easy to squeeze open, with just enough resistance to hold items of clothing tightly so they dont fall if jostled about in the closet. Definitely recommended for the flat hangers that match the set!
These are a great fit on my slim, velvet hangers. I like the slim hangers but it’s a bit of a pain sliding pants through them. These clips are making it much easier to handle.
For the new year of getting organized, I have all black velvet hangers in my closet for cohesiveness. I never knew these hanger clips existed but so happy I found them. They are easy to add to the hangers already in my closet and hold my slacks and pants really well. I need to buy some more!
These have internal clips that are plastic and designed to attach to your hanger. The clips appear to be universal, but more towards the plastic hangers over the metal ones. The clips internal grab mechanism is too large for metal hangers. When attached to a plastic hanger, the clips will either stay in place, or they won’t. This presents an issue when the clips slide together when putting your things away. This may not bother some. It bothers me greatly. When a pair of pants is hung and straight, then the clip slides all the way to the other clip, the pants are no longer straight or wrinkle free. I think these are great if that doesn’t bother you. They are felt lined. I personally would not get these again in the future. The non secure manner it attaches just doesn’t work for me.
These work great with the black velvet hangers I already have!Since the clip is pretty flat, I wouldn’t suggest using these on any other type of hanger. They probably won’t work well on round/plastic ones. But if you have flat hangers they’ll work perfectly!
