Not easy to assemble sometimes is a good thing ð
Box arrived in excellent condition. It is a little pricey, but for me it is just within budget for a change from regular puzzles. These are a great pastime gift for someone who cannot get out much and can only spend a limted amount of time sitting up, no paint or glue to dry out. I am just started building it, my 8th one in just over 4 years. The new delivery courier, BMI, is something else. Dispite specific delivery instructions to my apartments private entrance, they again left it on the floor in the unsecure lobby by the wrong apartment door.

Si vous voulez detacher les pieces sans les briser, tourner votre panneau a l’envers et vous aller voir la piece que vous voulez enlever il y a de tres petites encoches laissees par le laser pour pouvoir tenir la piece en place, utiliser une lame exacto #11 et couper l’encoche delicatement ,votre piece va s’enlever tres facilement sans la briser. Aussi je n’utilise pas de cire pour graisser les rouages,c’est trop dur a moins de la faire fondre ,j’utiise une tres petite quantite de Vaseline avec un cure-dent ou de la graisse legere utilisee pour graisser les engrenages d’helicoptere teleguide. Ceci est mon deuxieme train en bois que je construit et mon troisieme train sera en metal de la compagnie Time For Machine.

Pretty incredible but hard to find replacement parts
I got this as a gift for my dad for Christmas. He hadnât had a chance to put it together until his vacation time. There happened to be a main piece that didnât fit properly and ended cracking. It would be nice to get a replacement piece for it but (as it is passed the time to return the product), i donât seem to see where to get a spare piece. Iâd appreciate help. This is the only thing that has brought the rating down.

Fantastic 3D wood model
Very detailed 3D model that satisfy me very much. Assemble this one needs patience and care otherwise would not succeed. Something you need some tools to help like small clamps, tweezer. I found that the candle stick comes with is not good for lubrications. I use Slick 50. And be careful that donât turn the energy wheel to much when testing or playing. If the rubber bends break and there is no way to replace it without taking almost every parts.

Bad reseller
pieces are incredibly brittle, and many many broke I reached out to the seller, asked for a refund or maybe a different model in return. Their reply was to repeatedly tell me to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer told me to try to resolve it with the seller. Note: when i told them that i might dispute the transaction with Visa, their response was that this was in effect me saying they stole from me, they didnt care at all about me, and the $120 i spent.
This is my Second U-Gear and again I loved to assemble the complete model…Each & Every part is a perfect match…Just need to use proper wax given & the sand paper…The way it looks after assembling even plastic or metal models Can’t match. Some parts are tiny & delicate..do take care while removing from the board..But once again I feel prices have to be lesser. Otherwise it’s a perfect Model or Toy even for adults. Hat’s to the manufacturing team & mind behind to this concept.

I am not a “modeller”, but I am a keen and decent DIY’er, but I have run out of projects in lockdown, so decided to buy this model for something to do. From the reviews it appeared the best; movement, quality of materials, and the look of the final train.To start with, I was very impressed with the materials: the parts are securely housed in their respective sheets, but there is a tool provided which makes extraction easy. I was concerned as I built it that there would not be enough rubber bands or toothpicks (the “accessory” items used to secure parts together). But there were plenty, so dont feel you have to skimp !The instructions were simply brilliant. I have bought many items over the years, but these instructions were as good as any I have seen. All done with wonderfully drawn pictures, in colour, and on glossy paper. Well done uGears!. With these in hand, and a bit of thought you will do it.As I progressed, I made a schoolboy error in building the “motor” and broke a piece, but lo and behold, there was a replacement part provided (one of about 10 duplicate parts), so I guess I am not the only one to mess that part up!. To avoid a repetition, I went on the internet, and watched some videos of mounting the 16 drive rubber bands, and realised I was using poor technique. Problem solved. I would definitely recommend watching these videos if you are in any doubt.That was the only real issue … everything else fitted perfectly, and I used wax to ensure I didnt damage anything ( and were I did, through careless “pressure” to mount a part, a bit of glue secured everything)This was simply a joy to work on and I am delighted with the final model.

….und Grobmotoriker. Ehrlich! Das wird nix.Angeblich kann man den Baustz innerhalb von 12 Stunden komplett fertig stellen. Das ist bestimmt möglich. Wundern braucht man sich dann nicht, wenn ständig Teile abbrechen oder die Lok dann hinterher nicht anständig fährt.Ich habe mir 12 Tage Yeit gelassen. mit groÃen Pausen.Meine Lok fährt über die 2 Meter mitgelieferten Gleise hinaus. Und beim Bau ist mir kein einziges Teil abgebrochen!Wer hier also schlechte Rezensionen verfasst, weil sie nicht anständig fährt oder was kaputt ist, der sollte sich selber an der Nase fassen, denn der Bausatz ist durchdacht und funktioniert einwandfrei.Ich habe schon zig Bausätze fertig gemacht. Ãblicherweise die Revell-Geschichten oder Modellbau z.B. Eisenbahn, Boote etc. Einen Bausatz dieser Art hatte ich noch nie, und ich muà ehrlich gestehen,…das stellt alles in den Schatten!Ich bekam den Bausatz zu Weihnachten……natürlich das schwerste Modell :-DEinen so groÃen Spaà hatte ich mit noch keinem Bausatz. Keine Ahnung, wie jemand ohne dieses Werkzeug z.B. die Zahnstocherstifte in den richtigen Längen abschneidet. Kann ja dann auch nicht richtig funktionieren, da die korrekten MaÃe manchmal eben doch ausschlaggebend sind. Noch ein Tip:Ich habe ein Werkzeugset mit 2 Pinzetten, 2 feinen Feilen (so wie für Maniküre) und ne kleine Zange zum abschneiden dazu bekommen. Gibt es auch hier bei Amayon. Ganz wichtig auch ein dünnes Skalpell. Damit lassen sich die kleinen Stege an den ganz dünnen und empfindlichen Teilen durchtrennen, bevor mit roher Gewalt alles abbricht. Ich habe nie mit den Fingern, sondern mit dem geheimen Werkszeug die Teile nach und nach heraus gedrückt.Und dann immer schön feilen und wachsen wachsen wachsen. ich habe dafür ein Teelich hergenommen, wo der Docht fehlte.Dann flutscht alles schön und die Lok gibt richtig Gas!Schade, daà ich jetzt keine Steigerung nach oben habe. Aber der nächste Bausatz ist schon ausgesucht :-)Absolute Kaufempfehlung !!

In tutta onestà mi sento proprio di consigliare non solo questo bellissimo treno,ma tutti i prodotti Ugears,impegnativi ma abbastanza facili da montare.Avevo regalato al mio nipotino di 10 anni unâauto e ho notato quanto si siano divertiti a montarla lui è il suo papà .Ora da bravo nonno ho voluto provare io con qualcosa di un poâ più impegnativo.Il risultato si vede dalla foto fatta quando non era ancora finito.Un consiglio a tutti fate molta attenzione quando staccate i pezzi dal supporto.Il legno di cui son fatti è robusto,ma alcuni pezzi essendo piccoli sono un poâ più delicati.A me ad esempio si è rotto un pezzo molto sottile.Un po di attack e ho risolto il problema. Alla fine vi resterà un bellissimo oggetto da arredamento che farà un figurone nel vostro salotto. Buon divertimento

La calidad de los materiales es excelente, hace posible montar todo sin romper las piezas, con esfuerzo pero con seguridad. El buen diseño de las piezas, la confianza en que el resultado final será excelente, hace que la maqueta terminada sea una obra de ingenierÃa. El corte láser, perfecto. Quizá, el sistema de gomas elásticas se hace complicado, que giren con suavidad los ejes es difÃcil. Cuando se termina todo… ¡la máquina, el vagón, la vÃa del tren… quedan espléndidas!
