Works ok
The setup was easy enough, and they look fairly sturdy. I have two complaints about them though, one is the lack of handle on the sides to carry/move. Clearly this is meant for stationary use and not for moving around.The second and more important flaw is the magnets holding the door closed… they’re very weak and the door opens very easily and does not stay closed reliably.
Great quality bin
This is overall a great quality bin. When put together it feels quite sturdy and secure. The main method to access items stored inside the bins is actually not through the top like I had initially thought, but actually through a door on the front that closes via a magnetic catch. While you could, of course, take off the top, it’s more of an involved process than simply opening the door in the front. This also makes sense if you were to stack these boxes up–if you were opening from the top, you’d have to clear everything above to be able to do so. While I have only one unit to test, the notches do line up and stacking looks like it would be simple. While it could be quite pricey to buy a few of these for stacking, the quality is definitely there.
Its stackable design allows for efficient use of vertical space, while the foldable feature ensures easy storage when not in use. The clear plastic allows for quick identification of contents, making it practical and convenient. The lids provide a secure closure, keeping items safe from dust and dirt. Die Umtiti KZDSN-Aufbewahrungsbehälter sind schnell zusammen gebaut, ausreichend stabil und transparent. Es baucht ein wenig um sie zusammen zu bauen. Doch wenn sie steht dann ist das sehr nice. Gerade habe ich meine 3 D Drucke reingepackt, Das sieht sehr schön aus. Der Preis ist ganz in ordnung. Man kann sie auch wieder zusammen klappen, dann benötigen sie wenig Stauraum.
It’s relatively easy to assemble but for this to work properly the plastic needs to be completely straight and when I assembled mine there’s slight curves to some of the panels. Because the panels aren’t perfectly straight they don’t all meet as they should. This makes it harder to assemble and less sturdy.The clip mechanism to hold the lid on is not well thought out, and the clips that hold the side panels into each other are also not a good design compared to other similar products I’ve got.The magnets that hold the door in place are poorly thought out, not strong enough and the metal screw they’ve used in the door itself to be the attachment point isn’t properly situated – or perhaps that’s because my door or the frame is slightly bent. Either way, it’s not being held in place by both magnets, just one.Overall it’s not good enough for me to recommend it, I’d look at similar products from other sources.
