I love the plushie sets of mamas with babies. They’re always so fun to give as gifts because the receiver thinks it’s just a single plushie at first, then they get a second surprise. This set matches the photos quite well and is solidly stitched. They’re super soft and nicely padded, but the babies provide the stuffing for the mom’s body. If you want to keep her full while the babies are out, then a towel or t-shirt works fine. It can also be used to store kids pajamas in the morning, to keep them cleaner for the next wearing. The mom measures about 16 inches from her nose to her end, not including the tail. The zipper functions smoothly and it’s easy to stuff the babies back in and zip it closed. The babies measure almost 7 inches from the tip of their nose to the end of the tail. The babies all have sparkly fabric feet and the mom has shimmery feet. They come vacuum packed and inside a cute box with unicorn cartoonish graphics on the outside. You cannot get the set back in the box once the vacuum packed bag is opened. They recover to full form within minutes. I highly recommend this set for the quality, theme, appearance, and softness of the fur and stuffing.
I only like a hand full of things about this stuffy set – I love the concept of a mama with her babies, pretty well stuffed, I like that all the facial features are nicely embroidered, and the mother’s metallic pink wings & hoof material is thin but cool. Otherwise, this is a cheap, weird design mess. The mother’s hair/mane/tail is a terrible cheap rough mangey short fringe (brand new out of the bag, it already looks dirty & well ‘loved’ for years) – it doesn’t look anything like the listing pictures. The tummy zipper is ok but it’s a lot harder to shove the babies in and get it zipped back up. It comes in a nice colorful graphics box but why? As soon as you open the vacuum seal bag, you’ll never be able to get them back in. Mine arrived bulging & bursting open because the vacuum bag had already lost its seal – not a great first impression.Other than the horrible nasty hair, I am stunned at the design for the babies’ horns. Doesn’t look anything like the mother’s nice short normal looking horn. They definitely look like human male genitalia! Especially with the different colored “base” (balls). Upon going back to the listing pictures, they are depicted correctly but I guess it’s a lot more noticeable in person. I don’t know if kids will notice but even if they don’t, it’s a really weird design & doesn’t look like any unicorn horn I have ever seen before. I do really like the assortment of different colors of the babies and their embroidered designs on their rumps. All in all, expensive, cheaply made, weird design and problematic ‘packaging’. I do not recommend.
Iâm afraid another reviewer nailed it. The babiesâ horns look decidedly phallic, which my daughter volunteered! So thereâs that.Other than that, itâs a cute set. Weâll be keeping it. Itâs more funny than off-putting.
My kid loves this, screamed over it, then belted out a loud unicorn nay. The 4 baby unicorns are pretty cute, and the main mom unicorn is pretty well made, looks like good quality. I will say, the zipper leaves a little to be desired, but not enough to reduce the rating. It can be caught in the cloth if you’re not careful, or rather, if your little one is not careful.Great toy.
My daughter is on a unicorn kick, I saw this and knew it was going to be a hit. Sure enough she fell in love with them and how the Mommy can keep her baby unicorns safe inside her belly. They easily wash in your machine, dry quickly in a few hours even without the use of the clothes dryer. The stitching and seams are done well and they should last at least as long as her unicorn phase!
