Great potty training book.
I got this when my daughter was 26 mths old just to get her used to the potty. She loved it…especially because it has a unicorn character. We potty trained her at 30 months and she is fully trained for the day time. I’m glad I bought this book to teach her about the potty and keep her entertained and eager about potty training.

Simple book with colourful illustrations
I bought this for my daughter to get her started with potty training. She really seemed to like this book and wanted to read it a few times the first night we had it. It has colourful pictures to look at and simple rhymes. Addresses the basics of what kids can expect as they learn to go potty. Does not touch on the topic of bathroom accidents like some other potty books.
My 3 year old daughter loves reciting the adorable phrases as she sits on the potty. The visuals are accurate but cute and help little ones process the new expectations clearly. Love this and would recommend to any unicorn lover!
The book is cute, with explanations simple and to the point. My 5yr old was so excited when she received this book. We read it to her from the moment we got it out of the box till she went to bed. We read it again the next day and on the following morning she finally went on the potty. She had been withholding every other time I tried to teach her how to use the potty. I tried other books and potty charts and rewards even a potty watch but nothing gave her inspiration until this book. To any parent struggling with their child resisting to use the potty, keep trying until you find what your child is inspired by. I also got a unicorn chart with magnetic stickers and found some training underwear that had a couple of underwear with unicorn print. I showed everything to her and told her my expectations for the day we were going to try again and it all just came together. She did resist at first but after some encouragement and patience and going over the expectations again, she finally overcame her fear.

I love the simplicity of it. The drawings are so cute. After I read it to my daughter she immediately took it, went in the bathroom to sit, and read her own version of the book. Sheâs never done that. This makes me have hope for upcoming potty training! Haha
I looked at a lot of books and felt most of them not to be age appropriate for a 2 year old. This one is pretty direct about it without being graphic. Exactly what I was looking for. It just doesnât hold attention every time.
