Good product
My son reacts to most sunscreens, but school required it for him. This sunscreen kept him from burning and did not irritate his skin, even on his face. Clean ingredient list too
Works Well
I liked that this product spread easily (compared to other mineral sunscreens Iâve used) and did not leave a white tinge to my skin. It lasted quite awhile (I reapplied once when out in the sun for 4 hours after having gone in the water). The smell isnât the best which is why I only gave 4 stars; otherwise, it would have gotten 5 stars.
Bad reviewers donât understand
Yes, all mineral sunscreens leave a bit of a white tint. Nothing that can be done about that. Compared to other mineral sunscreens, though, this one isnât as severe. Theyâve probably done everything they can to mitigate that effect. They should however indeed make it somewhat easier to spread if they can. However, after comparing with other mineral sunscreens, I couldnât find anything better. And Iâm almost an expert shopper now. Also, you do want a mineral sunscreen despite the minor inconveniences: spend two minutes on Google to find out why.
No good
I have Stage 4 melanoma and I still burned, yes I applied at least every hour. No good, Iâll use sun protective cloths all the way now, who cares what I look like, I donât lol
Love it!
This sunscreen takes a minute to spread, but it soaks in nicely. It leaves only a slight milkiness, but not as much as most zinc-based sunscreens. And it offers 20% zinc oxide which my dermatologist says is the minimum requirement for sun protection. I will buy more.

Greasy feel.
I wanted to like this sunscreen, because it was a mineral sunscreen, paraben-free, made in Canada, claimed to be non-greasy, and non-whitening. But, even though I used very little of the product (when I first try a product liquid/cream skin care product, I always use just a little, then add more if I need to find the right amount for my skin), the sunscreen still felt sticky, and greasy.I expect a little white-tint from the zinc, but was hoping that there would be none with this sunscreen because of the product description said “Non-whitening zinc oxide”. The slight whitetish tint didn’t bother me as much as the sunscreen’s scent, which was not fruity, floral, herbal or anything else that I would find pleasant in a product I would apply to my skin.I should say that the sunscreen seems to be effective as a sunscreen though.I usually don’t mind paying a little bit more for a good/excellent product that I like and works for me. At CND$20, for a 3.4 oz tube, it is too pricey, and too pricey for a product that I don’t like very much.
Did the job but not a great smell
This was just ok. Harder to run in than other mineral sunscreen and I did not care for the smell at all. Did protect us though if applied often.
