The first thing I noticed is the very attractively finished super cute dinosaur pattern. There is a lot of attention to detail in the way the neckline, armholes and zipper (and cloth-covered zipper protector) are finished in a slate blue/gray that goes so nicely with the dinosaur pattern. There is plenty of leg room for growth and the proper hip development. This is a thickly quilted item that is zipped from the neckline to up and around the right foot making for very easy diaper changes. As for the thick quilting this is, apparently, “thermostatic” — storing or releasing heat as needed. This is a winter item for sure. The inner and outer layers are 100% cotton for comfort, and that inner “thermostatic” layer is 79% viscose and 21% viscose. This is machine washable with light colors.
I wish I had ordered a slightly smaller size, as this size large sleep sack will have to wait until next winter to snuggle the baby. That, however, is not the fault of the manufacturer, but rather purchaser oversight. This sleep sack is a very nice product. It is nicely padded with very soft material. It has a two way zipper and plenty of room to permit the child comfortable moverment while sleeping. The baby will be cozy in the winter without being hot and sweaty. How many adults suffer from throwing off the covers and then scambling to replace them when trying to achieve a temperature that is comfortable? The design of this sack attempts to prevent that for the young child who is less able to adjust their sleeping environment. The “intelligent dynamic temperature control” feature of this sack should assist in keeping the sleeping temperature within the range of standard comfort. The only feature I would prefer to see changed is the plastic snap at the top of the zipper. While I love how modern outfits for babies prevent them getting pinched by the zipper, I found the plastic snap to be difficult to close. Outside of that one nit picky item, this sleep sack presents as being very good quality and something which should deliver a satisfying sleep experience. 5 stars.
This sleep sack is heavy and thick (in a good way). Very cushy and cozy. This is definitely for winter (like it says) and because of that, could be comforting due to the added weight by the thickness. I got the 18-24 month size (large) for my child and wish I would have gone smaller cuz it is enormous. It was easy to wash and held up well in the washer/dryer. I love the 2 way zipper for changing diapers in the middle of night. I also like that it doesn’t have sleeves and my daughter can move her arms freely if she wanted to.
I am using this on an 8 month old of average length and it’s almost a little tight. I don’t know if it will last until 12 months. I do love the design though. The way the zipper is oriented is great. It is a nice thickness for cold winter nights. I think I will pick up the next size up to have on hand as she grows. Very soft and seemingly high quality.
I love the quality of this baby sleep sack and the incredible softness of the material which is perfect for babies with sensitive skin. The sleep sack is well stitched with an excellent two way zipper and zipper guards on both sides. It also has lots of extra room at the feet which gives baby plenty of space to move her legs. It is quite thick and warm, and a perfect sleep sack for baby to wear when nighttime temps are in the 60s. This sleep sack comes in a nice gift box and would make a wonderful gift for new parents.
