I originally bought this comforter because of a Wirecutter review. I had been buying and using duvets and covers and they all were expensive and didn’t last, and worse they were too heavy. I have allergies and I realized that I could just use the comforter itself and launder it every week. It was cheap enough so I could replace it and it would still be cheaper than duvet covers. It turned out that they lasted for years even being washed every week. It is a wonderful cover. It’s lightweight, luxurious feeling and warm enough to use year around in Northern California.
