Reviews

  1. Perfect
These are great little valentines gifts! Great alternative to candy/chocolate. Bought them for my 3 year olds daycare class. He wants to keep all of them. Sorry kiddo 😂. That not how this works.

  2. Another Great Alternative To Candy For Valentine’s Day!
Our youngest grandson was beside himself with happiness when we gave him these to hand out to his classmates on Valentine’s Day. We are always on the lookout for small toys or activities that are able to take the place of chocolates or sweets on this special day; we feel that children get more than enough candy without us giving them even more. This set of Valentine’s toys consists of twenty-four small construction vehicles (six cement trucks, six excavators, six cranes, and six dump trucks). The trucks are roughly the size of Hot Wheels vehicles and are fashioned out of yellow, grey, and black ABS plastic. Their nicest feature is the fact that they are “pull-back” toys; after being pulled backwards, they zoom forward on their own when released. I’m not sure how the girls in my grandson’s class will feel about these toys; I do know that he thinks his little buddies will think they are great!Rather than including cards to fill out, the manufacturer made a great decision and instead included a cute box for each toy with room for the name of the recipient and the giver’s name. The gift boxes are fairly easy to assemble (a kindergarten or grade one or two child may require some initial help in learning the process) and have both the picture and name of the vehicle they are intended to hold shown on the box. Just be sure to write the names on the boxes before assembling them to make it easier print neatly.Being constructed of plastic, there is no guarantee that these toys are going to last a long time. That being said, they are a great, thoughtful alternative to candy and, at their current price of $24 CAD (with coupon), only cost a dollar apiece. Recommended.

  3. Inappropriate Messages For Young Children
I am a little disappointed with these valentines I thought they would be great for elementary aged students. The miniature stuffed bears are all good. The valentines are quite large which is nice and they have to: and From on a heart with a bear, on one side.Unfortunately the other side has random messages that aren’t really appropriate for children such as “We were meant to be”. “Love is a chord in life, not a solo”, With all my heart I love you”, “One Love One Lifetime, “Your Love lights up my life”, “May our Love will last forever”.So the valentines themselves are going to prove useless for me. I’m not sure who you would give twenty four valentines to with those messages. I wouldn’t order this again until the messages are more appropriate.

  4. Cute little bears! 🐻
My 8 year old daughter was absolutely thrilled when this product arrived! She can’t wait to give them out to her classmates this year for Valentine’s Day. The bears are much bigger than expected and a great alternative to candy. These will be perfect little additions to any backpack or key chain.Unfortunately, the messages on the cards themselves are not exactly what I would say is appropriate for little kids to say to one another. The cards are very well made and on a thick cardstock but, I think we will be hitting up another store to find something age appropriate to send home with friends this year. I have attached a photo of the messages as they may work for some families!

  5. Awesome Valentine Gifts for School
Love how this cute little set comes with unique little boxes to put the construction vehicles in. I love the whole idea of giving a Valentine with something useful for the kids to play with. It’s something they can keep and treasure instead of a candy or treat that gets eaten and forgotten about. This is also great for a school setting where many schools are no longer allowing candy or food exchange. I think this is a creative and exciting Valentine idea, plus you get enough for a whole class so you only need to purchase one kit. The quality of the toys is fairly good for a Valentine gift. My daughter is super excited to give these out to her preschool class.

  6. Fun to hand out, fun to put together.
These toys are great for toddlers. Each box has a label for a different truck, so be sure to match the car and label. The only thing I think was missing is a catchy phrase like ” I dig you” etc. It just says to and from and Happy Valentine’s Day. My toddler enjoyed matching the cars to the boxes and helped close up all the boxes so they boxes are sturdy enough for a 3 year old to use and not rip.

  7. Inappropriate messages
I wish I paid more attention to the messages on the cards before ordering these, as I ordered them for my child to give away in the class and I feel these are totally inappropriate. They are advertised as Valentine’s Day school classroom, however, the message is are very mature. For example. Example with all my heart I love you. One love one lifetime. These are messages that you give to your husband or wife, not to a classmate. The Bears are cheaply made, but cute and appropriate for a classroom giveaway. Unless you’re buying these for the plush only. I do not recommend these for a classroom giveaway.

  8. Super cute and unique for Valentine’s Day
These little kits for Valentine’s Day are so darn cute. The small trucks work great, just pull them back and off they go, and they come in four different styles – each with moving parts. Each one has a valentine gift box that the cars get placed in where you can also put the names, and they box style matches the truck type. These are great little kits to hand out when everyone else has candy! I just love that my little boy is giving out something he is proud of, not the “icky pink cards that all the girls give out” (direct quote). Perfect alternative for valentines friends.

  9. These little construction valentines are everything your little 3 year old heavy equipment enthusiast could want!! 😍😍

  10. My son’s school is currently undergoing construction, so when I saw these trucks as a Valentine’s set, I had to get them. The set comes with 24 small construction trucks – six trucks in four styles: dump truck, excavator, cement mixer, and crane. When you pull back on them, they roll forward (some also loop around), and they are quite fast! My kids had a lot of fun testing them out to see how far they would go across the room. This set comes with 24 cardboard boxes (pictured) – again, six boxes of each style to match the trucks. The boxes all say “Happy Valentine’s Day” on one side. On the side and top of the box are different sayings to coordinate with each type of truck: Truck Excavate, Truck Crane, Truck Cement, Truck Trailer (dump truck would be more accurate, but the kids probably won’t care). My kids loved playing with these, and I’m sure these will be a big hit for their classmates as well. Overall, a great set for easy Valentine’s Day classroom exchanges. Would definitely order again.

  11. My son loves this set and cant wait to give these out. Unfortunately after inspecting them I noticed two already came with defects. One had a hole at the seam and the other string came off at one end making it not usable. I’m worried that a little tug will make the bear fall apart. I really like it and wish it was better made.

  12. A little pricey for the quality you get. The trucks are cheap plastic. At almost a dollar a car, I’d expect diecast. These are worth like 25c to me.They pull back and zoom fast. The set of 24 is plenty for my son’s class of 20 kids.I like that it is an alternative to candy because my kids still have halloween and xmas candy. The individual boxes are cute. Be prepared to fold them all.

  13. This set of valentines cards is going to be perfect for my pre-k son’s class!-There are six of each of the 4 styles of trucks, named Cement, Excavator, Crane, and Trailer (what is written on the boxes). Each truck type has a matching box.-Each truck is about 2 inches long and are easy to pull back.-The images show that all types have moveable parts, but I only felt comfortable moving the crane and excavator parts. The cement truck does not roll and the ‘trailer’ truck does not tilt backwards. The images show that these can rotate, but I felt like I was going to break it if I tried to do that.-The boxes arrive flat, but I could easily build them with little effort. The finish is glossy, so you will need a permanent marker to write on these with.-My favorite part about these is that they don’t have any of the typical candy message heart-esque valentine sayings. They simply say, Happy Valentine’s Day.
