My Favourite Purchase for Baby
You must buy this for your baby. It’s been a lifesaver for me. If I could only buy one thing, this hippo would be it. The visuals alone are amazing. Putting stars & lights on the wall/ceiling but it does so much more. It’s sound activated so as soon as baby cries, it lights up. You don’t have to fumble around in the dark or deal with night lights. You can choose the settings for music or nature or story books or a combination or nature & music. I didn’t keep the hippo in the crib, I kept it beside me in bed. Then if i woke up worried, like most parents, i would simply touch it with the palm of my hand which causes noise & it would light up & show me the room so I could see the baby without having to get up. You can turn off the volume or even turn off the lights. So if your baby prefers music but not lights, you can control that. When my grandson got older, I put it in his bed. He would just kick it with his leg when he wanted to hear some music or see the stars when he woke up during the night. The hippo would comfort him so i didn’t even have to get up. I did buy rechargeable batteries since it uses a lot depending on how often baby wakes up. There is also a setting for it to turn on for 15min, 30 min or 45 min. depending on your needs. The sounds seemed annoying at first, since as adults, we aren’t used to listening to baby songs at 2 a.m. but after a while, they were soothing, even to me. If you don’t have much money and can only afford one thing, get this! My grandson is almost 2 years old & I have donated so many toys but we ALWAYS keep his hippo.

Great product
Love everything about this product, especially the auto timed turn off and auto turn on when baby starts crying. Only negative review about it is the fact that it’s battery powered and the batteries get drained pretty quickly. In the month that it has been in use, I changed the batteries 3 times already.

Best toy for newborns
I bought this hippo on my bday as a gift for my 10 months old. She loves it. The sounds and rhymes are very melodious and the stars are quite bright in dark. It starts singing whenever the baby cries. We are keeping this in our SUV, my baby loves the car lit up with stars. I wish I had it when my daughter was a newborn.

We bought my son this hippo last year from Walmart to help him adjust to his new room at night. It is his absolute favourite and he doesnât sleep well without it (he named it purple for some reason). It recently stopped working and he was devastated so I ordered from Amazon that night and it came in two days (and we live in a remote location)!! My son likes to refuse to go to sleep and want someone with him or he just gets up and leaves his room. This is a great alternative to TV and its easy to use. It’s a great value. It helps my son soothe himself to sleep. I highly recommend
J’en ai testé au moins une dizaine. Parfaite car :- juste assez lumineuse- ça tourne pas mais changement d’ampoules colorées dedans donc c’est comme si ça bougeait finalement- durée de 15 min à 45 min, parfait pour les grands enfants qui mettent un peu plus de temps à s’endormir- sons de la nature vraiment chouettes et discrets- son bien réglable-solide, depuis 3 ans elle est baladée partout-les piles tiennent au moins 6-10 mois-mignonne-se rallume si des bruits ou des pleurs-facile à éteindre le matin (sinon la journée elle peut se rallumer toute seule s’il y a du bruit)
Popi Estrellitas relaja a mi bebe cuando esta llorando, al encenderse solo es una maravilla y las luces le dejan muy entretenido, estuve buscando un proyector pero di con este muñeco que ademas de las luces tiene sonidos asà que es perfecto, tiene una calidad muy buena algo normal en esta marca.
