Great Unit
I did a bit of research before choosing this monitor. I was just looking for a simple monitor that had a decent range for when I was doing yard work and my baby was napping in the house. We have a double lot yard and there has only been the odd time it goes out of range. I like the vibrate alert feature, works well enough that I notice if I’m running the lawn mower and obviously can’t hear the monitor. I also like how the sensitivity can be adjusted. We have it set so when our son wakes up in the morning we don’t hear him when he’s quietly cooing, only when he’s seriously ready for attention. Awesome for those first few months when Mom and Dad can use every extra big of sleep they can get :)I did experience a few times where the battery seems to die fast, or not hold a charge like some of the other reviewers. A few times when I went to unplug the parent unit to move around the house it would immediately beep that the battery was dead. I found that when the parent unit is plugged in sometimes it looks as if it is charging, but the plug may not be in tight enough to actually charge. Just make sure to push the plug end in tight to the parent unit, no problems since. Simple, inexpensive monitor. It fits our needs well. I recomend it.
Works
It works well and has decent range. The issue we have had with it is the sensitivity of the on/off button, seems to want to stay on all the time.
Great Monitor
It is a great product, I like the two way talk feature and how it has a nightlight feature too! It has very clear sound with little background feedback coming through. My only complaint is the battery isn’t as long lasting as I’d hoped when unplugged compared to my cheap, no features, monitor I have. Overall I would recommend it!

Terrible. I purchased it going off of reviews on many sites but it doesn’t pick up any sound in the baby’s room and the sound it does pick up comes in waves. I’ve gone through the manual repeatedly and followed all the steps it says but still nothing is fixed.
Excellent Value
Already had this monitor and purchased this as a second set. Can’t beat the value for the price. Grandparents got one too. Talkback feature is helpful. Great performance – adjustable settings (sensitivity adjustment very useful), no auto-shut-off, excellent range. I can go to my neighbours house and the monitor still broadcasts even in their basement. Even has a belt clip so I can do chores in different rooms or outside without losing the signal or having to move the monitor when I change locations. Monitor sounds noticeably if out of range or battery low. Wouldn’t change a thing about this product!
Summer is better for Range
Works well at medium range. Sound is good. Major feedback at close range. Definitely did NOT get 1000 ft range as advertised. Tried my sister’s Summer side by side with the Vtech and the Summer had reception much farther and more clear.

Good product
I snore like a bear and have to sleep in the basement if I want the rest of the family to get some rest 🙂 The thing is I was feeling kinda guilty not to hear what was going on on the second floor, and asking my wife in the morning ”Hey, how was the night?” So I decided to look for a good monitor. This one works great, with no hissing interference at all. Love the sensibility tuning. The walkie-talkie button helps me talk to baby when I hear him beginning to get fidgety, and he eventually calms down. Good stuff!
