Such a fun ride on toy. This recycling truck makes fun sounds turning on and honking a horn. The buttons on the side teach all about recycling and it sings cute little songs. The toy can be sat on but also acts as a shape sorter and collector of many other toys via the scoop front and back that opens. Our son plays with this one everyday.

Great toy. 12 month old enjoys putting the shapes in the holes. The songs and sounds are good. A little odd to ride on but everything else is good.

Our grandson is almost 14 months old and we keep toys and necessities at our home for him because he spends quite a bit of time here. When I saw the VTech Sort and Recycle Ride on Truck I knew it was a toy he was going to love, and I was absolutely right.VTech is such a fantastic learning brand for young children and it always has so many different settings and learning options.This Truck is very well made, it is sturdy, the wheels work great, and it is super colorful. We love the sounds, music and lights. You can press buttons, turn keys, beep the horn. The on button has two volume settings for louder and softer and next to the on buttons are a push button horn and a turn key. This set comes with 6 blocks, 2 Yellow Hexagon shapes which are the metal recyclable materials, 2 Red Heart shapes which are the plastic recycle materials, and 2 blue circles which are the metal recyclable materials. You can use the scoop to pick up the blocks by pressing it down over the block then you can tip the scoop back to put the block into the recycle truck. You can also put the blocks into the correctly shaped and colored sections to “sort” your recyclable items. There are also 4 buttons in each recyclable section that will talk and teach your child. There are several learning modes, from recycle, to music and quiz there is something for very young toddlers up to older toddlers.At almost 14 months our grandson was able to get his leg over to sit and ride on this toy and he was quite proud of himself that he could do this on his own. He loved pressing all the buttons, turning the key and of course pressing the horn button. He was able to sort the circle into the circle hole without any problems and is learning which way to position the heart and hexagon pieces to put those in.This is a fantastic learning toy, and I like that it is unique, something new that I haven’t seen before. The colors are vibrant, the sound is great, the learning experience is fantastic. I can definitely see our grandson playing with this and learning with it for a few years.
