The build quality is fine and my toddler did enjoy it for a few minutes but got bored quickly, itâs very limited in what it does. The âpianoâ is very spotty. Normally the Vtech stuff delivers more than youâd expect at the price point, but this one fell a little short.
Fun toy for babies and toddlers.
We have been using the VTech Squishy Lights Learning Tablet for about a week now and this is what we thought about it.Pros:-All buttons have multiple features including sounds, music, and animal tunes.-buttons are squishy and easy to press-the lights and colours are bright and fun for tiny fingers to follow.-it will play a song if not used for a few seconds and then stays quiet/ goes into a sleep mode.-not overly loud, so it doesnât get annoying.Cons:-buttons easily pick up dirt, as they a silicone material.-the plastic slider piece and bee are a bit difficult to move some times.Overall, this tablet is a hit with my one year old and my 3 year old will even pick it up and play with it. We take it with for longer trips so the littles have something to keep them occupied if we are waiting somewhere for any amount of time.
Very engaging and durable.
My little guy was enthralled by this toy and very quickly and intuitively picked up what to do to utilize it. It is quite durable too having survived many drops from the highchair without so much as a scratch. The buttons are easy to push, light up, and the animal images have a touch sensitive activation. It’s not too big of a surface area either and thin so as not to weigh too much. Batteries are still going strong.
This is a very entertaining toy for my baby, she hasnât gotten bored with it and itâs light and small enough so i can take it with me everywhere, itâs very durable, my baby just toss it everywhere and it still works, has a good sound and music quality
