Excellent product. I bought a safety gate for the top of my stairs. We painted a couple of months ago and did not want to screw anything into the wall.We have a wood banister on one side with flat surfaces, but the other side has the wall for the top part of the gate and decorative trim on the bottom – which is not flat.The pad fits perfectly over the surface of the trim and firmly holds the gate screws in place.The one against the painted wall leaves no markings whatsoever.I also find that the gate holds much more securely with the pads, so I use them against the wood banister as well, even though they are not really needed.Great idea. Excellent product. If you are considering these, don’t hesitate.
Wish I would have know about these sooner
Replaced my baby gate and got these to go with it. Absolutely love them and wish I would have known about these when I started using baby gates. Perfect to protect the wall and easy to use. They also look way better than just the original gate attachments for a pressure mounted gate.

Keeps the dog gate secure
My sister dogs were always knocking over the gate. The tighter we screwed it into the wall, the more it damaged the drywall too. With these wall nannies weâre able to screw the dog gate onto the baseboards and door way with no damage. The dog that knocks over the gate the most is almost 90 lbs and although sheâs tried to knock it out since getting these bad boys, she has failed. We no longer need to fox the wall or put extra cushion on the wall to prevent damage; they are perfect!

I just bought a new baby gate for when my grandchildren come to visit, and decided to purchase these wall nannies to go with it. My main reason for buying them was to protect my walls and stair bannisters, but these things really grip the walls too!! Soft rubber, no way to move them once installed!! Really glad I bought these!!
These items are just the right size and work perfectly against a wall or heavy furniture. Also, the rubber feet prevents messing up the wall or furniture!
