I’m an exclusive pumper who uses the medela symphony pump 6 times a day for at least 30 minutes per session. I was looking for a back up power source in the event of a power outage or a camping trip. I am reporting on my first charge cycle for the battery (so can’t attest to longevity).I was able to run the pump exclusively on battery for 8 consecutive sessions. These were at least 30 minutes but half were as long as 40 minutes at default (medium) suction. Additionally I would run the pump for maybe 10 minutes or more after to dry out the tubes. Overall the battery did a good job sustaining the pump. Suction did not seem impaired. This was all done at room temperature.I have a spectra S2 that I will also try running with the battery, but since I primarily use the symphony I won’t be able to judge as well.I feel confident that the battery could power the pump over a 24 hour power outage. This could be enough time to find an alternate power source for an exclusive pumper or to recharge the battery elsewhere.
Charged it and itâs lit up when charging, but when I unplug it and hold the power button it doesnât do anything. When hooked up to the pump, still doesnât turn on.
I use this for my spectra synergy gold pump and it works fantastically! It holds a charge really well & lasts a while which makes it even more worth the purchase!
I ordered this for my wife breast pump so that we can travel. It did not came with the conmector cable. Otherwise once I got the connector cable cable it worked, I think they should clearly mention that it would not come with the connector cable, so that people can plan ahead before travel.
– Comes with a short type C cable and a short DC cable.- Auto shuts in less than a minute once you disconnect the device.- I used it to charge my phone and to pump. Worked well on both.I didn’t use it to battery exhaustion but was able to pump one full session of 21 minutes and the battery still showed full. The suction force on pump and the output is as good as with standard plug in.- Will great for traveling and for any power cuts.
