sturdy durability
I spent more than I wanted to but def worth money. White goes with my decor, easy to assemble. Read instructions first before cutting zip ties. Very sturdy nit flimsy. Door opens and will shut behind you with ease. I purchased for my puppy and keeps her out of my living and dining area. Worth money,planning to give to my Son for his children one day.
Excellent gate
Ordered the black gate with the cat door to keep our dog from getting into the kitchen where the cat bowls are. I was skeptical the gate would be strong or sturdy enough. It was very easy to set up, had it unboxed and secured in less than ten minutes. And it’s amazing! I like how each extension to secure it to the wall (pressure mount) can be adjusted individually which is awesome when baseboards are present. Cat door stays up using a magnet. I don’t foresee issues but if for some reason the dog figures out how to knock the cat door closed it could easily be secured up with a tie. Door is a good width to allow easy entry for people. It does stay open if you open it far enough, or if you just open it enough to step through it will close automatically. Door swings both ways. There is also a piece that goes at the opening of the gate which is helpful as a reminder not to accidentally stub toes like on our previous gate which we had to step over the bar. You could probably step on this piece as well. Overall, definitely recommend the gate.

Needed a wide gate on my deck for my dogs & found this one on prime day. Price was fair & the reviews were mostly positive so I went with it. The assembly instructions arent great but it was super easy to assembly. It took about 15 minutes by myself. Once installed its very sturdy & easy to open & close. I also bought & highly recommend these “Wall Nanny” things (on amazon). I got them to protect my siding & deck from the pressure screws/mounts/whatever theyre called..I’m really happy with my purchase. I’m not sure how great it would be for kids 3 & up as its quite easy to open but for younger kids & dogs it’s perfect & it looks good.

A quality gate. Components are well built and sturdy. Just be cautious when selecting the size of gate. Near the upper end on the size limit where the adjustable feet are fully extended, the bolt has more movement.I contacted with a couple questions and customer service was very helpful.

The Gate opener which is on the top of the gate is easily opened by very young children.
We purchased this gate because our son and his family were here for a two week stay. Our son was happy to install the gate for us. We all loved the structure of the gate, it is very sturdy, a very well built product. Our issue was the latch kept accidentally being opened by two of the three young children. The first incident, our two year old twin leaned her arm over the latch of the gate, it opened and she ended up being swung into the kitchen. Luckily she wasnât harmed just a little shaken up from the surprise of it opening. The second incident our other twin opened it by trying to shake the gate and he happened to push down on the latch to open it. The twins werenât harmed in these two incidents because there were no stairs to worry about. In our opinion there definitely needs to be an extra safety clasp on them or the issue resolved. This could have been horrifying had there been stairs that they could have fallen from. We do hope the manufacturer of this product does something to make these gates extra safe for young children.
