The bowls are durable, of good quality, they are pretty, and the whole family loves them.
They stand up to the microwave and dishwasher well
I wanted to replace old microwavable bowls that developed that ring around the inside, so I gave these a try and Iâm not disappointed. They do stand up to microwaving and the dishwasher: no residue even if they were used to heat up spaghetti sauce or kraft dinner, no pitting or a ring inside as of yet (2 months in), stand up well in the dishwasher whether on top or below. I have a suggestion and a warning, however: suggestion is to make a lip so you can easily grasp the bowl from the microwave without it being too hot to handle; now my warning: because thereâs no grasping lip, like my old ones had, the bowls become pretty hot, so I use a tea towel to take them out of the microwave. Overall, I donât regret my purchase.
They are great for kids, we have the plates as well and the kids love them.
The bowls are larger capacity the. The plates but the kids love them. The colours are nice and because there are two of each the kids donât fight over them.

I got these for my mom to replace the plastic set of bowls she was using. We’re trying to reduce plastics in our household, but she needs something lightweight, microwaveable, and dishwasher safe. These wheat straw bowls meet all of our needs plus they are super sturdy and come in beautiful colors. We’ve had them for a couple months now and they still look like new. Now the whole household is using them because we like them so much!
I love the bowls they are large enough for a nice size portion of cereal and they’re very sturdy and dishwasher safe would buy them again .
They are just the right size for cereal, fruit, soup, leftovers. I love the pastel colors, they are very lightweight, they are fine in the dishwasher, and they are NOT plastic! I can’t imagine how they make these out of wheat straw, but it’s an ideal alternative to plastic or heavy china or glass.
So far I am loving these bowls. They’re a good size, microwave without getting hot on the lip, and haven’t warped in the dishwasher. If you need something lighter and more durable I’d recommend these!
