Little machine, big noise!
This noise machine is so portable and small. I take it camping and when I travel. You can fit it in your pocket. The carry strap is handy too. I hang it from my bedpost. There are so many great sounds to choose from and the machine remembers the last choice so you donât have to shuffle through them every time you turn it on.It usually lasts 2 full nights per charge and charges in a couple hours. The volume for such a small gadget is crazy! There are about 25 volume levels and it emits a small beep when you reach maximum volume.Above all else, customer service is phenomenal! The first machine I bought stopped holding a charge after a couple months. I contacted them and they sent me a new one within 2 days. I really recommend this machine and this company! Very satisfied!
Pretty reliable
I purchased this noise machine for travel because at home, I sleep with a fan, mostly for the whitenoise, because I can’t sleep when I can hear myself breathe (I get it, it’s weird).I was very surprised at how loud it can get, but also surprised at how long it lasted out of the box before I had to charge it. I used it 3 nights in a row before it started making the “charge me” plea beeps. I’ve used it multiple trips now and I think it lasts 3 or 4 days before needing a charge, which is great for traveling.I only listen to one of the specific fan noises. The fire crackles are nice and so are the cricket noises, but if you’ve found one out of the many options, it’s worth the inexpensive price.The device is way smaller than I thought it would be too. It’s not much bigger than a golf ball. I like that it comes with a strap. The only thing I think it’s lacking is maybe a carry case/bag.All in all I’m very pleased with this purchase.
Small and powerful

Small, and many choices of noise covering
This speaker is conveniently small. It comes with an attachment so you can hang it off something if needed. It also comes with an equally convenient small carrying case. You can adjust the type of noise (birds, running water, rain, fire, wind, white noise, etc). I was very impressed that it has not only white noise, but brown noise and pink noise (fyi – each color type plays back different frequencies of noise). My only complaint so far is that when you turn it on, the starting volume is louder than I would like. Even when your volume is low when you turn it off, when you then turn it on again, the volume defaults to loud. I would rather it start on a low volume so I can turn it up to my preferred volume. Otherwise, seems good.
GREAT FOR TRAVEL
My family and I need white noise to sleep and when traveling it became a chore bringing along our fans or big noise machine.On a whim I bought this little machine to see if it matched the sound of the fans we would bring along, it not only matched it it superceded our expectations.This noise machine fits in the palm of your hand, needs no batteries, it’s rechargeable and lasts all night. You have the option to use a timer to shut off or you can choose manual and have it run continuously. The choices of different sounds is amazing and the different levels of sound are great.The added bonus is this set came with a travel case and storage for the charging cord.HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR TRAVELING.(NB: it’s a perfect backup for at home when the power goes out and you need sound for everyone to sleep ð. )
Palm sized with light is worth the added size and weight!
This review is for the “palm-sized” version with the clear plastic finish and adjustable colour LED nightlight.I tried a few other units including the smaller version by the same seller. The others I tested had one or more of these issues:- too quiet- smaller speaker had difficulty with deeper sounds (e.g. brown noise)The palm-sized version suits our needs perfectly and is worth the slightly bigger size and weight. The nightlight is handy in a dark hotel room, and we no longer need to leave the bathroom light on. It is much louder than the other units, and the brown-noise sound is much more pleasing and less “tinny”. The battery surprisingly lasted 9+ hours on a charge with the volume at max and the light on. This was convenient as we could put the machine at the source of the sounds we wanted to block (like the hotel door, between sleepers if one is a snorer, etc.) and not limited to where there was an outlet. This will live permanently in our travel kits.
Two HUGE problems with it.
At first I loved the size, shape, general sound quality and programmed sounds. BUT here is the issue: when it turns off or when u turn it off, it doesnât remember the setting and it defaults to a very loud sound on high volume every time u turn it back on. Picture this: you use it to fall asleep. You wake up in the night and want to turn it back on but it turns on very loud and on a program that might be 7, two second presses away from the program u first picked, so in order to not jolt yourself or your partner up you turn it on under your pillow to muffle the loud sound it is set at. But now you canât tell which buttons to press since its round and all buttons feel the same. You press the wrong button and now instead of 7 programs away, you need to press all 15 because u went in the wrong direction. And you also donât know which control is the volume and you make it even louder.The next problem is there is no indication of when the battery is close to empty – but you figure there is enough battery power for the night so you take a chance. But you misjudged it because you donât record exactly how long you use it each time and how loud u had it. In the middle of the night u find out that the battery died and the unity starts beeping loudly and wakes you up. Since u donât know which buttons to press in the dark you canât turn it off. So you turn your light on to see better. If its your child’s room, she is crying, you are upset and you throw this nice little âsleepingâ aid out the window.Take away: a very bad design. Save yourself marital distress, ruined sleep & a crying child and find another unit. There are other better designed units of similar size to choose from.
I have used a white noise machine for over 25 years to help me sleep. I had one I used for travel, and I donât think I would be getting hardly any sleep in a strange bed in a hotel room without one. That one was a hand-me-down from my Mother, and was about the size of the old-school cassette Walkmansâthough it also had an alarm clock, a radio, and weather radio in itâpretty nice. It finally died, and I knew I had to get something to replace it before I traveled anywhere else. This one is nice and small, and weighs less than my old oneâgood for traveling. It doesnât have the extra features, but nowadays I get those with my cell phone, so not a concern. The old one plugged into an outlet and/or used batteries; this one uses a USB charger. I prefer my electronics to plug into the wall instead of having to charge a battery that will eventually die and cannot be replacedâI sincerely doubt this one will be going strong for 25+ years, but nobody ever asked me before switching almost all electronics over to âchargeable USBâ power, so I just have to live with that. My husband teases me that Iâm a âwho moved my cheeseâ whinerâ¦Anyway, after I received it, I started poking around to find some kind of protective case to use with it for traveling. The first one I ordered was not a good fit, but then I found this: RLSOCO Case for Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro/Buds 2 / Buds Live. It works perfectly! Itâs a bit tight at first, but it certainly does the exact task I wanted it for, itâs lightweight and protective. I took some pictures, in case anyone else is looking for a suitable protective travel case. The case will also help me keep track of it, as there is less chance Iâll forget it in a hotel room somewhere. The sound machine itself is good. I canât stand the ones that have an audible âloopâ soundâeven a very faint oneâto me that is very noticeable and irritating when I am trying to get to sleep. This machine does not have a looping effect, at least not one I could hear. Iâm very satisfied with this lightweight, little white noise machine. Time will tell how long it will last. I dislike that most electronics, appliances, etc made nowadays seem to incorporate âplanned obsolescenceâ, or are just made so cheaply they will need replacing far sooner than the old-school stuffâdonât think thatâs going to change anytime soonâcorporations make too much money selling us things over and over, while landfills get larger and larger each day. Of course, no one asked for my opinionâ¦
I bought this for my tiny sound machine and itâs the perfect size. Not only that but because the top is hollow, the cord fits in it! If youâre getting the tiny sound machine, buy this case!
First of all let me just tell you that this little thing is amazing I usually sleep with the fan on because I need that noise to draw out the humming noise in my ears and to be able to sleep comfortably at night cuz I need that noise well my husband said that he was getting cold because I live in Indiana so the weather kind of changes a lot so I decided to buy this little fan and set it on the side of my bed and run it and I did all night last night and I slept through the whole night without the fan on because this little device drowned out everything. The on off button is on top of the device you hold it down for 3 seconds and it comes on you have low medium medium high and then high and it’s amazing the size is amazing it’s compact enough to not take up a whole lot of space but it gives off such a great sound that it drowns out anything in the background. I would recommend this item to anybody if you use a fan and you go somewhere a hotel or to your family members house and they don’t have a fan this little device will get you through that I love it I recommend it I will probably buy another one just to set on my husband’s side of the bed but this little device is definitely where it’s at was worth the buy I don’t think there are any cons to it except for the fact that it could come in different colors instead of just the regular gray and white that would be a great pro but there are no cons to this In fact you can even feel a little air moving while it’s running which I love because I need that little breath of air on my face while I’m sleeping I don’t get cold from it My husband doesn’t get cold from it he even said that the sound it was on which I use medium high drowned out the ringing and his ears where I have the humming I have leukemia so I have all the side effects from everything and this little device help me sleep through the night for the first time in months this little device took the humming out of my ears all night long so that I wasn’t sleeping and hearing that I recommend this device to anybody who was looking to drown out all the noises why they’re sleeping. Purchased this to put in our new puppies sleeping room at night. It’s been great to block out noises we make at night or in the morning that was waking the puppy up; which lead to barking and wanting out of her kennel.
I use this on bonfire night and the days before so my dog couldn’t hear the fireworks. It worked to treat it can go quite loud it’s very small it runs off a battery so you can move it around One night I went to bed and it was still getting the next morning. Lots of different sounds and they don’t seem to be repeating.
